On Saturday, May 10th, 2025 I was welcomed back for the third year in a row to cover Coach Nick Pennisi's PSR Big Camp Series hosted at Monroe High School in Monroe, New Jersey. As I have come to expect, this event was packed with participation, loaded with talent, and ran extremely well.

Different than other events, Pennisi opted to have three different check-in times, based on position groupings. This afforded me the opportunity to get a closer look at many of the prospects in attendance. Below are just some of my notes on the position group mentioned in this article's title.

I do not get to see many prospects out of Hamilton West, let alone, Mercer County, but I did today with [player_tooltip player_id='1278651' first='Cullen' last='Bressler']. Bressler has all the size you need at the position as he stands 6'4" 187lbs. For as big and strong as he is, I thought that Bressler, a 2027 graduate, loaded up to deliver his throws a bit. Refining his lower half mechanics and stepping into his throws ought to be a quick fix for this... [player_tooltip player_id='1271282' first='Tyrone' last='Baker'] is set to return as the incumbent quarterback for Timber Creek this year. With another year of grooming and development, Baker showed that his senior season might just be his best yet. I caught Baker put excellent touch and lead for the back out of the backfield on a Texas route.

It seems as though every year when the PSR Big Camp Series rolls around, [player_tooltip player_id='212393' first='Luke' last='Irwin'] will be present. Irwin, a lefty, showed me that he has zero problem throwing across his body when needed. More impressively, however, was the fact that on these cross-body throws, Irwin still manages to lead his wide receiver effectively for plenty of YAC... After [player_tooltip player_id='378676' first='Jacob' last='Zamot'] left Millville, the Thunderbolts found stability at the position by starting a freshman in [player_tooltip player_id='489023' first='Robbie' last='O'Connor'] for the next four years. My first live look at the rising sophomore, O'Connor showed patience in his approach to playing the position. However, when it was time to strike, he striked. O'Connor threw an absolute gorgeous dart over the middle.

Aside from being a New Yorker, there were few quarterbacks more impressive than [player_tooltip player_id='505855' first='Kenneth' last='Dillon']. At 6'4" and 180 pounds, Dillon has plenty of size to command the position and get enough on his throws. One throw that best exemplifies this was on a deep fade. As the wind was blowing to his face, Dillon delivered an absolute tear drop into the receiver's hands that hit him in stride despite the strong gusts. Furthermore, this same arm strength showed up again, along with plenty of command, to deliver a total rope on an out route.
