On Saturday, May 10th, 2025 I was welcomed back for the third year in a row to cover Coach Nick Pennisi‘s PSR Big Camp Series hosted at Monroe High School in Monroe, New Jersey. As I have come to expect, this event was packed with participation, loaded with talent, and ran extremely well.

Different than other events, Pennisi opted to have three different check-in times, based on position groupings. This afforded me the opportunity to get a closer look at many of the prospects in attendance. Below are just some of my notes on the position group mentioned in this article's title.

[player_tooltip player_id='1692602' first='Rhyan' last='Dispensa'], a Camden product, figures to make a good tandem with [player_tooltip player_id='1642050' first='Jojo' last='White']. Dispensa generated tremendous power through the ground. As he took his steps, you actually heard his feet drive and pound the ground. That said, his short, choppy steps were mostly short and choppy as they turned to strides at times... A local product who made the short drive down from North Brunswick was [player_tooltip player_id='829433' first='Ruhan' last='Sriram']. Sriram had a few Kashmiri chillies to him, showing that he was a bit spicy, had some attitude, and brought the heat to his reps. As Sriram prepares for college, he can easily earn some extra cash as a bouncer the way he tossed defensive lineman out the club. Moreover, Sriram's feet were solid as he stayed in front of the majority of his matchups during the reps I saw him take.

Traveling down, deep into South Jersey we went to see Haddon Height's [player_tooltip player_id='1692603' first='Nathan' last='Lelionis']. Lelionis showed a few very good things during this exhibition. In one of the reps he won, Lelionis stopped a tough bull rush. Sounds simple enough, right? Wrong. What impressed me about this rep was not just the fact he stopped the bull rush, but he refit his hands and pad level, turning that thwarted attempt by a defender into a drive block out of the frame. An area for Lelionis to continue to grow is to be mindful of protecting the inside rush lane first. A later rep he was beat inside, help, and performed a hip-toss. Heading back to one of the most southern parts of our state to one of the most northern, [player_tooltip player_id='1101263' first='Max' last='Hoerter'] of Ramsey came out to complete. I recall liking Hoerter's film a lot, but after seeing him in person I worry about his pad level. Because it was consistently high, I am mindful that he may get tossed/hump moved.

This camp season I have seen several lineman from St. Joseph's Regional and they certainly have a type - the quick-footed, athletic linemen who can play multiple positions. [player_tooltip player_id='212402' first='Steele' last='Haubner'], a senior, continues to fit this mold. Haubner showed a very quick step that allowed him to beat opponents to the spot. Although he is a bit on the smaller size, Haubner ought to further develop his anchor to stop bull rushes... If you go back and check my evaluation notes, I am certain that I left similar remarks on [player_tooltip player_id='1475735' first='Andrew' last='Wheeler']. A Newark Central product, there is certainly something there in this 2026 graduate. I thought that he moved well and had surprisingly better than expected technique. That said, Wheeler ought to work on his flexibility so he can improve his bend.

One of the more domineering prospects in attendance, St. Peter's Prep is home for [player_tooltip player_id='1692604' first='Emmanuel' last='Gonzalez']. Listed at 6'6" and 265lbs, Gonzalez is big, tall and lean. That said, he seemed to have some forward lean when pass protecting. He would be better suited to sit back and use his length to keep opponents at bay when in pass pro... I wish to see Sayreville's [player_tooltip player_id='1692605' first='Ryan' last='Sanfiorenzo'] improve his hip mobility. A few times I noticed him struggle to redirect, change directions, and get to his spots. Good thing the Bomber's rely heavily on the run game with their Wing-T roots.

A prospect who has picked up steam on the recruiting trail recently has been [player_tooltip player_id='1205835' first='Justin' last='Simpson']. Simpson, who attends Brigewater-Raritan, has a very strong upper body. Using his braun alone, Simpson completely tossed more than one defender out the club. His feet are relatively quick, recovering inside to cut off his opponent to which he eventually anchored. For whatever reason I thought that Simpson's base was a bit wide for my liking, perhaps due to his flexibility, yet he manages to still stand out.
