One Step At A Time For Tampa Sickles

When the off-season began for Tampa Sickles, head football coach Xavier Bolden and his staff told the players that looking back at 2024 would never benefit this program in 2025 and beyond.

Nobody had to rehash the 2-8 season. Every member of the program knew that the Gryphons had to focus on the positives and put in the work to turn things around.

Spring and summer needed to have every member of the program on the same page, and if you weren't ready to work, the turnaround would be slower.

If this team needed to be reminded – District 8-6A was no joke. Not with Seffner Armwood and Tampa Plant at the top and always adding pieces to keep them relevant.

What 2025 has to be about is accomplishing the little things – and that is something that is not up for discussion.

With a talented senior (2026) class in place, that is the place that this team will start with and slowly add in the underclassmen.
