We checked in to the Macalester College's inaugural Midwest Academic Camp last week, which was a unique experience for prospects and us at PRZ. We saw prospects come into St. Paul from 7 plus states as the draw was there for those young men with five plus schools in attendance which were some of the highest academic schools in the country. I might have had to leave early to pick up my kid from daycare, but man I got a lot of out this camp, so much so it will take two parts to get all the standouts which is always good news!

One of the most intriguing wide receivers at the Midwest Academic Camp at Macalester was Breck's [player_tooltip player_id='1395226' first='Oliver' last='Kuhn']. I was quite impressed with how balanced he was for his size in watching him go thru testing and similar could be said with the skillsets he showed off during the live eval. He showed off great twitch off the top of his route and was efficent in high traffic areas which was encouraging in my eyes as most of what you see on tape is comes from the secondary. One to watch amongst the high academic school ranks this summer and beyond as Oliver showed off increased versatility for me during the live eval.

Kayden Meverden, WR, Wausau East, WI 2026 Twitter

A wide receiver that aced the early eye-test during testing was Kayden Meverden of Wausau East, who jumped a very eye catching 9'6 at nearly 6'1 170 pounds. Kayden showed off a grinder on both sides of the ball, as a two-way prospect that does the little things well that you might not see away from the ball especially on offense. A well-versed football IQ that has position flexibility that correlates to either wide receiver or a safety at the next level in my eyes.

Jack Law, LB, Iowa City West, IA 2026

Another linebacker that was eye-catching from the jump was a new name to my radar out of Iowa in Jack Law out of Iowa City West. Jack showed off ideal next-level size with some growth to be had at 6'0 195 pounds but jumped nearly 33 inches in his vertical which shows me the explosive traits are there for the taking. Both PRZ scouts eyes caught the efficency Jack had in pass coverage as one that was physical and persistently in the face of the wide receiver in the reps that we watched.

Lorenzo Sireci, WR, Don Bosco, NJ 2026 Twitter

Lorenzo was a wide receiver that although slightly undersized, was one that kept intriguing me as a New Jersey target that made his way to St. Paul for the Midwest Academic Camp at Macalester. His fluidity as a route-runner popped out immediately and you could tell he is a wide receiver that plays with a high IQ as I was impressed with on a handful of reps how easy Lorenzo made getting separation look like. One 2026 WR to watch out of powerhouse Don Bosco.

Joshua Miller, OL, Dowling Catholic, IA 2026

Another offensive linemen that both PRZ scouts were on board on from the Midwest Academic Camp at Macalester, was Joshua Miller out of Dowling Catholic. He finished in the top tier in our eyes with the OL group, as the athletic ability and footwork this young man showed off at 6'1 275 pounds likely was eye-catching to the college coaches that were in attendance. He surely caught even more attention in the pass-pro reps I watched in St. Paul as one that showed off how well he could shield off the defensive linemen with his size and well-versed hands that brought consistent pad-level. Joshua certainly showed off a OT that you should see playing on Saturdays.

[player_tooltip player_id='1248723' first='Dylan' last='Gilles'], DB, Robbinsdale Armstrong, MN 2026 Twitter

Dylan was a defensive back that showed off almost robotic type athletic movement in the early reps I watched, and after realizing he jumped nearly 33 inches on the vertical, and 9'1 on the broad jump it explains why I saw what I saw at the Midwest Academic Camp at Macelster College. Dylan went 4.47 in the pro agility and 4.76 in the 40-yard dash. Dylan is one that I feel played with great instincts on the reps I watched at MAC, and seems to consistently have a leg up with his vision around the ball. Certainly one that can play on Saturdays from this camp in my eyes.

[player_tooltip player_id='592135' first='Will' last='Raymond'], LB, Maple Grove, MN 2026 Twitter

Will is a 2026 linebacker that was hard to miss on the eye test alone, as the 5'11 206 pounder from the Maple Grove Crimson also jumped nearly 31 inches on the vertical and recorded a 9'1 broad jump which both numbers are very sound for that size Will showed off at MAC. I was mightly impressed with the lateral movement Will made during the reps I watched in St. Paul as the vision Will attracted around the ball was evident in the reps I watched. I agree with [player_tooltip player_id='1292679' first='Oliver' last='West'] on this one, I feel Will has a great chance of being a breakout senior for the Crimson as a linebacker that will be a senior bloomer for college coaches in my eyes.
