ARKANSAS 2028 RANKINGS UPDATE: EDGE Rusher Breakdown

<p>We have officially released a new set of rankings for the class of 2028 in Arkansas. In this article, we will showcase the 2028 edge rusher with analysis. Over the next month, I will break down these rankings by position in each class, including other segments. For the edge rusher, I will provide you with evaluations of some of the top prospects and the players flying under the radar:</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1227672' first='Bennett' last='Moseley'] continues to be the best edge rusher in the class. He continues to grow and develop with an impressive wingspan for his age. Moseley displays a good burst off the snap, using his foot quickness, hand placement, and pad level to create leverage and drive the OL back into the backfield. This generates pressure on the quarterback or allows him to make plays against the run at the LOS. He's a high-motor prospect who plays with relentless effort, consistently chasing down ball carriers from sideline to sideline. Branch has been all over the country this off-season, competing at camps and developing his skillset. He displays a solid upfield burst off the LOS and is aware of both gap and zone runs. He possesses solid lower-body strength and power, enabling him to disrupt both the run and pass by driving back the offensive linemen to create pressure. We saw him at our combine in May. His impressive length allows him to quickly create inside leverage and shed blockers to make plays at the LOS. He also demonstrates solid quickness off the edge, which enables him to disrupt plays in the backfield and put pressure on the quarterback. He's a prospect to watch throughout 2025. </p>   <p>Note - No Social Media Found</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1592109' first='Christopher' last='Oliver'] was our biggest riser at the position, landing at number 4 and 101 overall. Back in January at our showcase, he was one of the quickest off the edge. Oliver displays solid initial quickness off the snap, using effective UOH and a spin move to outmaneuver OL and penetrate the backfield. He'll be a prospect to watch once he adds mass and continues to grow. He displays solid quickness and explosiveness off the EDGE. He shows solid foot quickness, pad level, and hand placement when engaging, allowing him to shed blocks quickly. His quickness enables him to execute a speed rush around the arc, pressuring the pocket or sacking the quarterback effectively.
