2026 Rankings Update- Who Are The Top WRs in Alabama?

With our new 2026 Rankings Update, it's only right that we look out wide and check out some of our top WR prospects across the state!   We were super impressed watching these guys – they all have so much talent and potential at the next level, it'll be exciting watching them this fall.   As always, make sure you watch some of their tape below!    [player_tooltip player_id='401089' first='Corey' last='Barber Jr.'] is an explosive WR out of Spain Park who put together a huge junior season and has seen his recruitment take off since.   "Barber is highly athletic and plays with a ton of speed and quickness out wide. He flies downfield, gains tons of separation, and constantly finds ways to get open everywhere on the field. Barber is a physical matchup nightmare for DBs- he makes impressive grabs using his size, catch radius, and body control- it's really impressive seeing how he positions himself to haul in passes.   After the catch- good luck stopping Barber, he is a problem and can shake off tackles and create huge plays downfield off of shorter passes."   Barber was incredible last fall for Spain Park's passing attack- ending his junior season with 74 receptions for 1662 yards and 17 TDs.    A few weeks back, Barber announced he had committed to Ole Miss! It'll be exciting watching him play out his senior season this fall, he's a dominant WR with a huge year ahead.      [player_tooltip player_id='1371428' first='Zion' last='Crumpton'] is an electric WR out of Carver who is now our #3 WR in the state, and #19 overall prospect.   "Crumpton is a talented route runner capable of gaining great separation at every level of the field- he's such a reliable target in his offense, consistently getting open against some tougher secondaries and hauling in some huge catches throughout the year. Crumpton has a terrific set of hands he uses to bring in passes over the shoulder, downfield, and through contact/heavy coverage.   After the catch, Crumpton has breakaway speed and great change of direction he uses to make massive plays in the open field- it's really difficult for defenders to track and try to stop him once he's got the ball in his hands, he's terrific at making men miss and works to gain every possible yard each catch."   Crumpton has picked up offers from Kentucky, Mississippi State, Florida, and many other top programs. It'll be exciting seeing where he ends up, he has a huge senior season ahead of him this fall.   Check out some of Crumpton's film below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1355851' first='Marquez' last='Daniel'] is a dominant WR out of Booker T. Washington who is coming in as our #4 WR and our #20 overall prospect in the state.   "At 6'6 190, Daniel is a massive target and uses his size to his advantage to bully smaller defensive backs- frequently on tape, you'll find him high-pointing receptions over the tops of DBs in the endzone, leading to some impressive highlights. Daniel plays with a ton of speed at his size and can really stretch the field. He isn't limited to shorter routes and can make splash plays downfield and after the catch, certifying his versatility at the position.   As for his hands, Daniel is incredibly reliable. He does a great job using his hands to secure passes away from his body, has impressive body control, and can haul in tough-to-catch passes along the sideline, through contact, and across the middle of the field."   Daniel was incredibly productive out wide last fall, ending the season with 38 receptions for 757 yards and 12 TDs.    Check out some of Daniel's film below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1183242' first='Kentrell' last='Davis'] is a versatile WR out of Parker who is now our #5 WR and #23 prospect in the state after last season.   "Davis is a well-rounded WR who can hurt defenses in so many different ways. At 6'3 170, he has great size, speed, and hands he uses to stretch the field and hurt defenses in several different ways. Davis runs great routes, is quick to get open, and can be a threat both underneath and deep downfield in contested situations.   I'm most impressed with Davis's hands. He routinely makes difficult catches look easy and can flat out embarrass DBs downfield with how well he attacks the ball. I think he's set up for a huge senior season, it'll be exciting watching him and Parker this fall."   Davis has official visits set with Vanderbilt and Memphis this summer and has continued to pick up offers throughout this offseason. "Smith is a physical wide receiver who utilizes his size and athleticism to make plays over nearly every defensive back he lines up against. With his speed and quickness, Smith runs great routes, gains tons of separation, and can outrun defenders to make huge plays downfield.   In addition to his speed/explosiveness, Smith has a set of consistent hands he uses to hurt opposing defenses at every level of the field. It's really impressive watching how he secures passes- he does a great job utilizing his size and catch radius to rip the ball away from defenders and make contested catches downfield for huge gains."   A few weeks back, Smith announced his commitment to Vanderbilt! He's set up for a ton of success down the road- it'll be exciting watching him this upcoming season and later on at the next level.
