The 2025 Bone Camp is scheduled for Friday, June 13, 2025. This camp has become the most prestigious prospect camp for top talents in the Northeast and New England region. This year, approximately 700 prospects are registered to participate in the event.
In this report, I will share Prep Redzone New England Scouting notes on the Top QB & TE attendees selected by the BONE Staff who are registered to attend. The attendees listed below will showcase their skills in front of college coaches, aiming to enhance their recruitment opportunities or initiate their recruitment process for the future.
This list serves as a valuable resource to assist college coaches in their evaluations. Many lesser-known prospects have gained recognition by participating in this camp, and I anticipate this year will be no different. Prospects not included in this list may still be discovered and evaluated, potentially generating recruitment interest. I encourage all attendees to strive for top recognition—give it your all!

2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1077153' first='Jake' last='Attaway'] QB 6' 190 Phillips Exeter Academy NH. Surprised by how comfortable he is in the pocket. With the numbers he put up, I expected Attaway to be an out-of-this-world athlete. Don't get it twisted, this kid is a playmaker and can make something out of nothing more times than not, but he's a lot more controlled than I thought he would be. He does a great job straddling the line between game-manager and play-maker. This type of duality in his game allows the Hudson coaching staff to be creative on offense, there's a lot you can do with a kid this skilled in the backfield. Awesome improviser, but still proficient in the pocket before plays breakdown.

2027 [player_tooltip player_id='207766' first='Matthew' last='Baer'] QB 6'3" 215 Avon Old Farms CT. Barnwell shows some nice touch and ball placement as a thrower. I liked a lot of his back pylon targets in the red zone, and he shows on tape that he can throw on the run. Most of his throws are in the sub-40-yard range, so you don't get a true feel for his arm strength, but he shows nice touch and accuracy throughout his tape."

2026 Xavier Brookins QB 6'2" 181 St. Vincent Palloti HS MD. He found a home at Pallotti as the starting quarterback, finishing the season with 1,289 yards and 14 touchdowns. Brookins possesses a strong arm and adds excellent touch to his deep ball, demonstrating the ability to make throws at every level of the field. After waiting for his opportunity, Brookins is now showcasing his talents and will be a player to watch closely next season.

2029 [player_tooltip player_id='889334' first='Jahir' last='Charles'] QB 6'1" 180 Springfield Central HS MA. - No Offers - Jah413_ - Hudl: https://www.hudl.com/profile/23339784/jahir-charles/highlights New England Without mincing words, [player_tooltip player_id='889334' first='Jahir' last='Charles'] has a real shot to be the number one QB in Massachusetts for the class of 2029 when all is said and done. Another reclassed prospect that would have made the 2028 New England list if he decided to hit the HS ranks this year. Fundamentals are through the roof, football IQ is extremely advanced and he the dual-threat ability to make people pay. There's a ton to like here.

2028 Gavin Gilardi QB 6'3" 175 Delbarton HS NJ. - No Offers - @Gavin_gilardi8 HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/22773812/Gavin-Gilardi - New Jersey - Gavin Gilardi has clearly taken a big step forward since his last appearance at the PRZ Middle School Combine, both physically and in his game. He's grown noticeably taller, and that added size has only enhanced his presence in the pocket. His first throw of the weekend—a perfectly placed ball down the sideline—was a sign of what was to come. Even though it was dropped, the throw was on the money. Gavin stands tall under pressure, keeps a strong base, and consistently scans the field with active eyes, showing a mature understanding of coverage for his age. His quick release and confidence in tight windows stood out throughout the event. On one play, he floated a perfect pass just over the linebacker in the back of the end zone for a touchdown—showcasing elite placement and touch. Delbarton has a future star under center in Gilardi, a true gunslinger with all the tools to make a big impact.

2027 Sean Hickey II QB 5'11" 175 Clearwater Central Catholic FL. Offers: Cornell, Albany - @arch4qb HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/17194766/Archie-Jones - New York - Jones led CBA-Albany to the state title game this year and earned tons of post-season accolades, but the tape is why he lands at #1 in the quarterback position in our rankings. Jones does many things well, but what stands out on tape are three traits that you rarely see with HS quarterbacks, especially as consistently as you see them with Jones. Pocket Awareness & Movement: Jones has an incredible feel for pressure in the pocket; his ability to use his athleticism to escape or move and reset his feet is better than anyone in this class. Anticipation: When you watch tape from each game, there are multiple throws every game that Jones makes where most QBs wouldn't pull the trigger. He understands throwing guys open and is not afraid to test coverage by making throws at all field levels. He targets open space and does so efficiently; not many high school quarterbacks have this type of feel for the game, and if they do, they tend to turn the ball over often. Touch: You see a wide variety of throws on tape, but Jones makes a lot of really nice touch throws or level 2/level 3 balls. These passes have some air on them and sometimes require being off-platform or making throws with just the upper body. There is also an accuracy element to touch, since these throws often don't involve traditional mechanics. The accuracy aspect of these touch throws for Jones comes more naturally than with other QBs. Nothing looks forced or off; instead, you get a smooth release and catchable ball down the field.

2026 [player_tooltip player_id='858553' first='Shane' last='Maguire'] QB 6'5" 225 Brooks School MA. At 6'5″ and 215 pounds, he boasts an impressive combination of size, skill, and athleticism. His recent verbal offers from Bowling Green and Lehigh underscore his rising status. On film, Shane demonstrates exceptional poise and agility in the pocket, showcasing the ability to deliver quick, accurate throws, even under pressure. His proficiency in driving the ball downfield and threading the needle in tight coverage sets him apart from his peers. His quick feet and ability to throw on the run enhance his versatility as a quarterback. Shane's blend of physical attributes and refined skills make him a compelling prospect as he continues to impress scouts and recruiters alike.

2027 [player_tooltip player_id='1033461' first='Nelson' last='Martinez'] QB 6'1.5" 190 Wyoming Seminary Prep PA. The rising sophomore has put in the work in the off-season to learn. This season he is delivering. His accuracy is consistent. The placement of his throws are good. Shows good pocket awareness. The vast majority of clips he has in his film appear to be solid placement throws. He does have a few quick-release throws in his film, but not enough to gauge his arm strength. I'd like to see more clips showing a quick release and his ability to change arm angles if needed along with throwing into tight windows. has transferred to Wyoming Seminary Pa for fall 2025 into class of 2027

2028 [player_tooltip player_id='1001665' first='Zachary' last='McKenzie'] QB 6'3" 175 Suffield Academy CT. - No Offers - ZachMcKenzieQB http://www.hudl.com/profile/23047093 New England Zack has a quick release and a strong arm. He can drive the ball downfield and make accurate passes in traffic or on the boundary. He has great mechanics, pocket presence and just enough speed to get to the sticks when needed. He is shifty. He has very good pocket awareness. His accuracy is very good. Has good arm strength distance. I've seen him live at showcases, and his mechanics are crisp. He can make all the college throws and always wants to learn more when coached. He is having an outstanding season. During a game on the week of September 28, 2024, he went 15/22 ATT| 279 YDS | 3TDs, including 38/34-yd strikes. His ability to escape the pocket when needed is standing out this season. Although a true pocket passer, he moves well outside the pocket while able to escape pressure and can tuck it and run when buying time. He shows good downfield accuracy and leads his receivers open with throw anticipation and can fit it into tight windows over the middle and hit spots outside the hashes with zip on the ball. One of the top passers in the WCAL, he has had a very productive prep career up to this point, and is looking to be a next level steal.

2027 Jareth Staine Jr. QB 6'1" 175 Springfield Central HS MA. I met Jareth during spring 2023 at the Northeast Showcase just after he was offered by Boston College. He has surely grown since then and now stands 6'1″ 165 with additional growth potential. He also flashes a 3.89 GPA indicating no academic issues. He is known for his powerful throws and quick release along with dual threat abilities. He has very good ball placement and overall excellent accuracy. During the evaluation process for rankings, “Staine” graded out as a Power 4 prospect. When he makes catches and turns upfield, defenders bounce right off of him. When he's in line, he's a strong blocker but is a threat to chip and release. His routes are about what you expect for a bigger TE, which is great. I get that old-school Iowa type of TE vibe when I watch Holler. Really reminds me a little bit of Luke Lachey. Holler is an overall threat to defenses and is a focal point of passing games. He shows his ability to be a good pass catcher as an inline TE and is good in the run game when asked to block. Shows the ability to run away from defenders and is smooth when running with the ball. Is very good in the middle of the field and does a good job of catching in traffic. He will be a true TE prospect for the Choate Rosemary Hall offense. Will be exciting to see him compete at a higher level and how it will raise his recruiting stock. Lance is good TE prospect that is able to be an every down player at the next level.

2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1696491' first='William' last='Phillips'] TE 6'4" 215 Winnacunnet HS NH. - No Offers - WillPhillips_87 http://www.hudl.com/profile/18191299 - New to Prz New England

2026 [player_tooltip player_id='404668' first='Tanner' last='Raymond'] TE 6'3" 220 Choate Rosemary Hall CT. His recent verbal offers from Georgetown, Fordham, Monmouth, and Columbia speak volumes about his potential and skill set. Tanner's athleticism is evident in his ability to excel at pass-catching and run-blocking. He demonstrates soft, reliable hands, making him a natural target in the receiving game. His tenacity after the catch allows him to gain extra yards, showcasing his strength and determination. Additionally, Tanner's defensive play is commendable; he brings speed, energy, and sure tackling to the field, further enhancing his value. His contributions extend to special teams, where his versatility is a significant asset. As he continues to refine his skills, Tanner's upward trajectory in the rankings indicates a bright future in collegiate football.

2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1632690' first='Cooke' last='Riney'] TE 6'6" 245 Middlebury Union HS VT. - No offers. - cookeriney Hudl: https://www.hudl.com/video/3/18491266/66f1812ca62e6019566c9692 - Vermont - [player_tooltip player_id='1632690' first='Cooke' last='Riney'] ‘s on field presence and stature are immediately noticeable on film. Cooke made an impact on both sides of the football last year for a good Middlebury team, but his specialty comes at the TE position. His ability to track and catch the football was impressive. The Tigers offense used Cooke in multiple positions in both the run and pass game to show off his overall versatility as a player. A player with a very high ceiling and upside, Cooke will look to cap off his high school career with a great 2025 season.

2026 Luke Van Auken TE 6'6 1/2" 255 Delsea Regional HS NJ.
