Surprised by how comfortable he is in the pocket. With the numbers he put up, I expected Attaway to be an out-of-this-world athlete. Don't get it twisted, this kid is a playmaker and can make something out of nothing more times than not, but he's a lot more controlled than I thought he would be. He does a great job straddling the line between game-manager and play-maker. This type of duality in his game allows the Hudson coaching staff to be creative on offense, there's a lot you can do with a kid this skilled in the backfield. Awesome improviser, but still proficient in the pocket before plays breakdown.

Barnwell shows some nice touch and ball placement as a thrower. I liked a lot of his back pylon targets in the red zone, and he shows on tape that he can throw on the run. Most of his throws are in the sub-40-yard range, so you don't get a true feel for his arm strength, but he shows nice touch and accuracy throughout his tape."

He's grown noticeably taller, and that added size has only enhanced his presence in the pocket. His first throw of the weekend—a perfectly placed ball down the sideline—was a sign of what was to come. Even though it was dropped, the throw was on the money. Gavin stands tall under pressure, keeps a strong base, and consistently scans the field with active eyes, showing a mature understanding of coverage for his age. His quick release and confidence in tight windows stood out throughout the event. On one play, he floated a perfect pass just over the linebacker in the back of the end zone for a touchdown—showcasing elite placement and touch. Delbarton has a future star under center in Gilardi, a true gunslinger with all the tools to make a big impact.

2026 Archie Jones QB 6'1" 190 Christian Brothers Albany NY. Offers: Cornell, Albany - @arch4qb HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/17194766/Archie-Jones - New York - Jones led CBA-Albany to the state title game this year and earned tons of post-season accolades, but the tape is why he lands at #1 in the quarterback position in our rankings. Jones does many things well, but what stands out on tape are three traits that you rarely see with HS quarterbacks, especially as consistently as you see them with Jones. Pocket Awareness & Movement: Jones has an incredible feel for pressure in the pocket; his ability to use his athleticism to escape or move and reset his feet is better than anyone in this class. Anticipation: When you watch tape from each game, there are multiple throws every game that Jones makes where most QBs wouldn't pull the trigger. He understands throwing guys open and is not afraid to test coverage by making throws at all field levels. He targets open space and does so efficiently; not many high school quarterbacks have this type of feel for the game, and if they do, they tend to turn the ball over often. Touch: You see a wide variety of throws on tape, but Jones makes a lot of really nice touch throws or level 2/level 3 balls. These passes have some air on them and sometimes require being off-platform or making throws with just the upper body. There is also an accuracy element to touch, since these throws often don't involve traditional mechanics. The accuracy aspect of these touch throws for Jones comes more naturally than with other QBs. Nothing looks forced or off; instead, you get a smooth release and catchable ball down the field.

At 6'5″ and 215 pounds, he boasts an impressive combination of size, skill, and athleticism. His recent verbal offers from Bowling Green and Lehigh underscore his rising status. On film, Shane demonstrates exceptional poise and agility in the pocket, showcasing the ability to deliver quick, accurate throws, even under pressure. His proficiency in driving the ball downfield and threading the needle in tight coverage sets him apart from his peers. His quick feet and ability to throw on the run enhance his versatility as a quarterback. The rising sophomore has put in the work in the off-season to learn. This season he is delivering. His accuracy is consistent. The placement of his throws are good. Shows good pocket awareness. The vast majority of clips he has in his film appear to be solid placement throws. He does have a few quick-release throws in his film, but not enough to gauge his arm strength. I'd like to see more clips showing a quick release and his ability to change arm angles if needed along with throwing into tight windows. has transferred to Wyoming Seminary Pa for fall 2025 into class of 2027

He is shifty. He has very good pocket awareness. His accuracy is very good. Has good arm strength distance. I've seen him live at showcases, and his mechanics are crisp. He can make all the college throws and always wants to learn more when coached. He is having an outstanding season. During a game on the week of September 28, 2024, he went 15/22 ATT| 279 YDS | 3TDs, including 38/34-yd strikes. His ability to escape the pocket when needed is standing out this season. When he makes catches and turns upfield, defenders bounce right off of him. When he's in line, he's a strong blocker but is a threat to chip and release. His routes are about what you expect for a bigger TE, which is great. I get that old-school Iowa type of TE vibe when I watch Holler. Really reminds me a little bit of Luke Lachey.
