A very underrated passer in class 26' comes from little Logan Rogersville MO. Also on a key member of the southwest7 7v7 football team.

Having a dependable, tough as nails pocket passer like Frieze is a huge value for a football team. Frieze is fearless in the pocket even when it's breaking down, he is calm and collected back there. So many times, you watch his film and he gets hit right in the teeth before letting off one of the most beautiful passes you ever did see. You can tell that Frieze is a natural born leader when he talks his teammates listen. Paired with the ability to use his legs to extend plays Frieze is your prototypical quarterback.

Going into his senior year Frieze seems like he is on a mission to prove he can play some solid football for a college football team.

A tall smooth route running wideout is Mr. Vaughn.

Vaughn has a very bright future ahead of him, paired with [player_tooltip player_id='1320123' first='Sam' last='Frieze'] and Freshman phenom Kasimir Manczuk at quarterback the year 2025 seems like it's going to be special for Vaughn. I first encountered Vaughn while watching the Southwest7 7v7 play in a couple tournaments and it was nearly impossible to not notice the 6'2 wideout. He is a long rangy type of receiver paired with track speed that can cover ground in a hurry. Vaughn is also just a very savvy type of player he understands where the zone coverage is, and he gets to his spot and sits right where he needs to for his quarterback.

Vaughn is only a sophomore, so he has a solid three years of high school football left in him. He is going to have a great high school career and beyond.

Jefferson is another sophomore that is more poised than usual. Another southwest7 football prospect that really caught my attention, Jefferson is just going to give you 100% effort every time he is on the field, coaches love players that will give you everything he has on the football field. Jeffersons best attribute in my opinion is his YAC ability, when he has the ball in his hands that is when he is at his best. As soon as he catches the ball he turns into a running back, he is so natural with his ball carrier vison it's pretty cool to witness such a young player just go to work with ball in his hands. He has natural hands and he runs a pretty dangerous deep post route to perfection.

Jefferson is just scratching the surface of his potential, be on the lookout for this man.

Brown is just a tough, naturally talented football player for the Rolla bulldogs. Everyone loves a multi-talented inline tight end. I don't think Brown has a single flaw to his game on top of being a great receiving threat he is absolutely one of the best run-blocking tight ends in the state of Missouri. He is a mauler, and you can tell he takes great pride in his blocking abilities. The Bulldogs use Brown as almost their main downfield threat in their offense. I think Brown is a bit better on offense because of his well-rounded game, but Brown could also get some college looks at defensive-end because he is also pretty good there also.

[player_tooltip player_id='1188293' first='Brock' last='Brooks'] is a very surgical passer.

Southwest7's [player_tooltip player_id='1188293' first='Brock' last='Brooks'] really impressed me the couple tournaments I was able to watch him play in. Brooks comes equipped with a very live right arm that is pretty dang accurate. [player_tooltip player_id='1188293' first='Brock' last='Brooks'] is just a gamer he has a highly competitive way about him, even though I've never really had the pleasure of speaking to the young man he has the look of someone that just wants to win football games and that's really half the battle when playing the quarterback position. Rolling into the 2025 season he has the opportunity to show his talents, grabbing the reigns from former Kickapoo QB Ben Johnson, and I think he is going to be great in high school. The Chiefs have a nice core of athletes to surround Brooks with and I think he is going to impress a lot of people this upcoming season.

You can pride yourself on being a fast, great route running wide receiver, and that's great scouts love that in a wideout but at the end of the day if you don't have the hands to catch the ball and move the chains everything else does not matter. Heman has some of the best hands in the class of 27', again another Southwest7 prospect Heman is such a trusted option to go to when you need to just move the football. His quarterbacks, rather it's 7v7 or with the Glendale Falcons they trust him to go up and get the football. Heman had a great 2024 season with 52 catches 777 yards and 6 td's but I think a second year under Frank Tristans offense he's going to have an even better 2025 football season.
