The Watch List- Prospects Seeing Their Recruitment Ramp Up

Welcome back to our Watch List!   Today, we are looking at some prospects who have seen their recruitment heat up over the past week.   As always, check out their tape below; these guys have some serious talent!    [player_tooltip player_id='1668182' first='Kenyen' last='Rogers'] is a talented DT out of Muscle Shoals who has made huge impacts on their interior defensive line.   Rogers is a destructive force on the interior who can win in the trenches and cause chaos in the backfield nearly every snap. He explodes off the line, has quick hands, and is an effective pass rusher who consistently works around OGs to generate pressure and get his hands on the QB.   He's just as good at defending the run- you can really see his power and leverage on full display in how he drives back offensive linemen to get to the RB. He eats up space, closes rushing lanes, and is a reliable tackler who doesn't allow for extra yards after making contact.   Rogers picked up an offer from West Alabama a few days back, it won't be surprising to see more head his way soon!   Check out some of Rogers' junior season below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1668188' first='Jacobi' last='Edmonson'] is a talented RB out of Scottsboro who has started to see his recruitment open up in the last week.   Edmondon is a physical RB who can kill defenses with his vision and speed. He's patient for blocks to develop, and when he finds a lane, good luck stopping him. He does a terrific job accelerating and using his speed to turn upfield, making the most out of every carry.   I'm most impressed with Edmondson's contact balance and overall toughness- he's a hard guy to bring down and consistently requires multiple defenders to tackle him in the open field. He runs hard, isn't afraid of contact, and has the body control to withstand hits and keep moving.   Edmonson picked up his first offer from North Alabama last week, and with what he's out together on tape, there will be more sent his way soon.   Make sure you watch some of his junior season below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1668190' first='Javarski' last='Lanier'] is an impressive WR/DB prospect who will be making his debut at Central this fall.   Lanier is a physical, hard-hitting DB you never want to cross paths with. He's highly instinctual, has great athleticism, and consistently flies downhill from the secondary to deliver massive hits to the ball carrier.   Lanier is terrific against the run but also makes a huge impact out in coverage. With his speed and instincts, he's able to cover tons of ground and make a variety of plays on the ball. It's got to be difficult gameplan around a defender like Lanier, he can beat you in so many different ways.   Lanier picked up his first offer from West Alabama last week, and with the summer just beginning, I think he'll continue to find more success this offseason.   It'll be exciting watching Lanier in this Central defense this fall, he's got a big year ahead.      [player_tooltip player_id='1668196' first='Chase' last='Holt'] is a dominant EDGE out of Ramsay who became a big piece of their defense as an underclassman last fall.   Holt is a dominant pass rusher who finds ways into the backfield nearly every snap. He's quick off the snap, has great size and speed, and does an excellent job using his length to beat OTs and get to the quarterback.   Once he's behind the line of scrimmage, you can guarantee that Holt will either pressure, take down, or force a bad decision from the opposing quarterback. On top of that, Hotl is a force against the run and frequently creates stops for little to no gain at the line of scrimmage.   I'm really impressed with Holt's tape- he's a constant force in the trenches who can make your offense completely one-dimensional, and teams are starting to notice. Holt picked up his first offer from Tuskegee Academy last week! The sophomore has a bright future ahead- watch out for him over the next two seasons.   Holt has some great sophomore film you can watch below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1668199' first='Carter' last='Castleberry'] is a talented 2027 ATH out of Winterboro who has started to see his name pop up in the recruiting world.   Castelberry really caught my eye on the offensive side of the ball- he's a really well-rounded WR who can be played in a variety of creative ways. He's quick, has great size and speed, and can attack multiple levels of the field with his route running.   I'm really impressed by how explosive of a prospect Castleberry is- he can take screens and jet passes the distance while also having the receiving skills to get out wide and create big plays downfield. He's got a good set of hands and some terrific run-after-the-catch skills he uses to outrun and evade defenses.   Castlberry picked up his first offer from West Alabama last week, it'll be exciting watching him play this fall!   Check out some of Castleberry's sophomore tape below:
