Spring is all about opportunity and after attending our seventh spring practice At Lake Region with head coach Jermain King, these prospects stood out with their effort, energy, and upside. While not all of them have offers just yet, don't be surprised if some of these names start generating buzz this summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1640209' first='Jermaine' last='May'] | ATH | 2026 | @_2JermaineGw

One of my DOGS of the day and a legit shocker—May flashed real college-level talent. He's a fluid DB with great instincts, but he also adds value on offense as a sure-handed route runner. Expect a breakout senior year from this two-way threat.

Najeh Miller | ATH | 2026 | @najeh_miller

Miller has WR1 potential written all over him. Great size, physical at the point of attack, and can flip to DB when needed. He competed hard all day, made tough catches, and played smart in coverage. Another key piece in this rising receiving corps.

Jayden McCutchen | QB | 2027 | @jaydenmccut5

McCutchen continues to emerge as one of the top young QBs in the county. He's accurate, mobile, and unfazed under pressure. Already gaining the respect of coaches, he could become one of the most complete quarterbacks in the area over the next two seasons.

Iverson Brandon | RB | 2026 | @5starAI

Brandon is built to be the bell cow for Lake Region this fall. He's a tough, downhill runner who isn't afraid of contact. Showed some strong flashes during team periods—keep an eye on his development as a college prospect.

Le'Aundre Copeland | ATH | 2026 | @Clampzdre

Top DOG of the day. Copeland brought the juice from the jump, lighting up the 1v1s and bringing energy all practice long. His raw DB talent is undeniable—if he locks in with a trainer and speed coach, his ceiling is high.

Cristian Silfa | LB | 2026 | @ItzCris2x_

Silfa is the enforcer of this defense. He plays downhill, hits with inten and carries a solid frame. He also gets it done in the classroom. With his physical tools and mindset, he's a name that could see his stock rise soon.

[player_tooltip player_id='1681907' first='Abraham' last='Ponce'] | LB | 2027 | @Abraham_ponce23

Ponce is one of the better pure tacklers on the roster and plays with real grit. Still developing physically, but he's got two seasons to grow and become a leader in this linebacker room.

Tory Dopson | S | 2026 | @ToryDopson9

Dopson showed some serious versatility, lining up at defensive back and holding his own in space. He's physical, and plays with a chip on his shoulder. One of those glue guys who adds real value to the defense.
