Florida has long been a hotbed of high school football talent. Annually, Florida produces some of the nation's top prospects. Florida athletes are known for their speed, agility, and raw athleticism. These prospects have made names for themselves and have caught the attention of coaches and scouts at the collegiate level. With the 2025 season getting closer, we're looking for players whose stock is rising in the state.

These players are all talented and have college-level abilities. Some of these players have a few offers, but all of them have the ability to play college football at some level.

There are some big-time, highly rated prospects and several sleeper prospects who should all be getting looks for the next level. This list is full of stud prospects.

Prep Redzone Florida will always support every player on their journey to playing college football.

[player_tooltip player_id='1580974' first='Paul' last='Zyskowski'], LB/DE/TE – John Carroll High

6'3", 235 lbs

Evaluation: Zyskowski brings serious two-way potential and football IQ. On defense, he's a physical presence with length (79” wingspan) and size to set the edge or plug gaps inside. Though not a pure edge-bender, he can convert speed to power and disrupt the run game. As a TE, he's raw but has intriguing upside as an in-line blocker or red-zone target. His size, academics, and versatility make him a strong candidate for high-academic FCS or Ivy/Patriot League programs.

Tywan Williamson, QB/ATH – Lafayette High

5'10", 160 lbs

Evaluation: A true Swiss army knife on offense. Williamson operates as a creative dual-threat quarterback who can extend plays, throw with touch, and beat defenses with his legs. Undersized for a traditional QB role, but his production and multi-sport athleticism pop. Could project as a slot WR, wildcat QB, or return specialist at the next level. Tough to bring down in the open field and understands angles well — ideal for a creative offensive system at the D2 or NAIA level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1372066' first='Monterrius' last='Williams'], WR/CB/RB – Lake Placid High

5'10", 167 lbs

Evaluation: One of the most dynamic all-around playmakers in Florida's small-school scene. Williams is electric with the ball — legit home-run hitter from the backfield or out wide. As a DB, his 6 INTs and ball skills show he reads QBs well and has sharp instincts. Projects as a slot WR or nickel DB with return value. His twitch, versatility, and play production scream "impact player" — a steal for a D2 or FCS program looking for multipurpose threats.

Marquis Wilkerson, RB/ATH – Bay High

5'11", 190 lbs

Evaluation: Wilkerson is a physical, downhill runner with good burst through the hole and pass-catching ability out of the backfield. At nearly 190 pounds, he's tough to arm tackle and can lower the boom in short-yardage. His time on defense (DE/LB) suggests he's physical and not afraid of contact. Could fit as a power-back or move-LB in the right system. His versatility and size profile work well at the D2 level with upside if his testing numbers are solid.

[player_tooltip player_id='1580966' first='Bentley' last='Ware-Roberson'], ATH – Boynton Beach High

5'11", 171 lbs

Evaluation: Ware-Roberson is a freakish athlete who makes plays all over the field. As a dual-threat QB, he's dynamic — fast out of the pocket with field vision and a live arm. On defense, he has elite closing speed, ball skills, and timing (12 PBUs). His straight-line speed makes him a fit at DB or as a slot WR/RB hybrid in college. He's raw in some areas, but his athletic ceiling is high. A true athlete who can impact the game in all three phases — power G5 or FCS upside.
