Next up, the linebackers signed up for our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase in Aberdeen that I will have a close eye on tomorrow. Another position that in my eyes is stacked with not just talent, but under the radar talent which is what we strive for at our showcases, searching heavily for those hidden gems in which these five fit that mold.

Kaden is a linebacker that I will be eager to watch tomorrow in Aberdeen as a 2026 linebacker, that I feel has some intriguing flexibility. In my eyes, the transition to free safety could be a move for his at the next-level as the vision to the ball Kaden plays with aligns with that. You can't forget to mention, that he plays with a sound amount of rangy that that I feel has more wiggle and twitch than is on tape, as we will have a front row seat of it tomorrow during the live eval. He shows off a enticing first step too, which I will watch closely to see how much more agile movement he has swung since the season ended. Twitter

Jean has won a linebacker MVP nod at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase in Aberdeen before, as I will wonder pre-showcase if he can continue that trend going back to back tomorrow as a linebacker prospect that has been kind of a mystery with hardly any tape uploaded last season. He is one though that I recall, you might need to depend on the live eval for his skillsets to do the justice as the instincts that Jean plays with are what got him the nod last time. I'll be sure to watch this young man closely tomorrow. Twitter

A 2026 linebacker that I significantly have circled as a probable stockriser tomorrow, is Minot North's [player_tooltip player_id='1568603' first='Evan' last='Berg']. The middle linebacker shows off it doesn't take long for him to show you how well he eats up running backs right up the A-gap as not only does he plug the hole with precision, he surely shows off as a linebacker that will put you on your back with how physical his contact appears to be. The tape shows that Evan brings a destroyer menatlity to getting off blocks, with his well-versed strength he has at his disposal. Evan also appears to me as a high-motor and growing instincts with his vision, as one that I have pre circled for camp and for college coaches to watch tomorrow as a first team All-State linebacker in 11AA last year. Twitter

After speaking at the tape and seeing Mason on my 2027 watchlist, I can honestly say that he is one that could be a sleeper that standouts tomorrow. The 5'9 180 pound, shows off flexibility at multiple linebacker positions and to be honest, he excels at the most of them in a balanced way on tape. Consistently you can see on tape, Mason is just about always the first man to the ball carrier coming downhill and has an intriguing explosiveness with his contact, that I will watch for in the broad jump tomorrow to see where he lands. He carries a 3.5 GPA and is slightly under-sized, but my gut tells me he could be one under the radar to watch for tomorrow in the 2027 class.

Making his way from 9-man Minnesota powerhouse, Fertile-Beltrami tomorrow is 2026 linebacker Caleb Sather. I recall his name from the 9-man state championships last year at US Bank, and remembering his first clip on take with how sudden and instinctive this 5'11 200 pounder can be getting downhill to the backfield for a loss. Even when working off a double-team, the smooth release this young man has is going to be intriguing to watch for with my live eyes tomorrow in Aberdeen. He also has the athletic movement in his favor, as a sideline to sideline linebacker that surely looks like a Saturday prospect to me. Twitter

A constant competitor at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase for the last couple of years, has been linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='771526' first='Joey' last='Dallmann'] of Aberdeen Central. After just picking up his first offer from right up the road recently, I have a gut feeling Joey's summer on the recruiting trail is just getting started. The 6'1 225 pounder, shows off every ounce of that size on both sides of the ball but I really like the next-level fit at linebacker as his instinctive movement and excellent physicality at the point of attack has damaging strength. He is one the best blockers at fullback in the Dakotas, and has excellent upside that has his best ball ahead of him. Twitter
