He proved to have the best footwork and technique among the group during the indy period, stayed in-phase with wideouts in 1v1s, and flashed his instincts and anticipation as a zone defender in the half-line and 7v7 periods. Produced two highlight plays covering a deep fade in 1v1s where he pressed the wideout to the sideline and made a late play to knock the ball out and another in cover-2 where he baited and jumped a corner route from the flat during half-line. The 5'9"/180 safety out of Chino Hills looked smooth and under control during the indy period and consistently put himself in the right spots during the team portions of the event. He's a strong, twitchy athlete that was at his best in press coverage where he showed his physicality disrupting releases at the LOS. He showed his speed covering deep routes and running some routes on offense at WR. He has some room for improvement in his footwork and technique at DB but certainly possesses the physical tools to play at the next level. Totaled 42 tackles and 3 INTs as a junior.
