We logged one last batch today of the offensive linemen that caught these eyes at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase last weekend in Aberdeen. 2026s that should have offers soon, 2028s with the athletic traits to grow, sleepers that we need more tape on, are all in the mix within this OL grouping.

A new name I caught last Saturday in Aberdeen that shows off the athletic frame for his age as a prospect that in my eyes has promising upside was [player_tooltip player_id='1669582' first='Reuben' last='Blanco'] of Bowdle. The verified 6'4 222 pounder showed off with ideal testing numbers in the trenches for his age which translates to his upside, especially in the 40-yard dash and pro agility. Based on the eye test from last Satuday, Reuben's growth is there for the taking for this young man this off-season into his sophomore year as one that could see his way into our rankings based on how the progression brews in the coming months.

Another offensive linemen from the Golden Eagles that showed growth from his junior tape into the live eval last Saturday was [player_tooltip player_id='1617827' first='Jordan' last='Rexinger']. In my eyes, he showed more velocity in his first step than what showed off on tape from his junior season as another offensive linemen fromAberdeen Central that plays above his measurables in the offenisve trenches. I also saw steady growth with a more poised pad-level from my eyes as Jordan was more active driving downhlll leverage with his strength. One that might show lighter tape, but the live eval certainly bumped up his stock a bit from my view.

Another offensive linemen out of Lennox that was a new name that caught my attention, was 6'0 nearly 240 pounder [player_tooltip player_id='1654656' first='David' last='Bartscher']. He has some upside left to prove when comes to growing his agile footwork even further than where it was last Saturday, but the athletic traits to me were trending in the right direction based on the reps I got to watch, as David showed off balanced hands in the reps I got to watch last Saturday in Aberdeen. I'll be intrigued to see how that progression grows into his junior season for the 11A state champs, as I feel that he could make a solid jump if we look at him over the next 4-6 months in my eyes as he has made steady production this track and field season with mild improvement in the shot put and discus. Twitter

A new name that cracked my notebook out of Minnesota at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase in Aberdeen, was Ayden Larson out of Detroit Lakes. He was a 2027 offensive linemen that passed the early eye test, and one although didn't have tape out there yet pre-showcase, showed off some good skillsets that can develop in his favor this off-season into the fall season. Ayden had one of the biggest hand sizes (9.75) in the OL group and I like how he put them into fruitation during the reps I watched. He showed off an offensive linemen that carried better footwork and base in the live reps as I thought his reach ability was more poised than I envisioned pre-showcase. The Lakers have a plethora of sleepers in their 2026 and 2027 classes, and I think Ayden could be one to know with the growth he has made with his frame and also getting a look at his track and field numbers, he has made great strides with a near 40 foot shotput this Spring.

It seems like every year an offensive linemen comes onto my radar out of Pierre T.F. Riggs either at our showcases or during camp season that catches my attention in the live eval, which last Saturday came from Samuell Valle in the 2026 class. I couldn't track down any old tape pre-showcase. What stood out quick with Samuel in the live eval, was you could quickly gauge the sound work ethic this young man puts out on each rep. I felt if you watched him from rep #1 to his final rep, any evaluator could see the quick growth this young man made. For me, it was his base and position angles that grew as too, Samuel had some of the more agile footwork in this OL group from what I could grasp. He is a sleeper to watch for during camp this summer and I like the skillsets he has brewing to become a senior bloomer in our 2026 class. Twitter

An offensive linemen that made our top performers at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase that impressed me in the live eval, was [player_tooltip player_id='1575943' first='Michael' last='Weyland'] of Aberdeen Central. The rep that stood out from the short clips I took showed Michael to have good lateral quickness and an athletic base going up against bigger competition in the defensive trenches and getting the win on that paticular rep. His proactive footwork set him up for success, showing off great pad-level and balance in the reps I got to watch. He is one I expect by next 2026 update to rise out our watch list onto our 2026 rankings as the live eval was intriguing.

An offensive linemen that I felt had a handful of college coaches attention last Saturday, was 2026 offensive linemen [player_tooltip player_id='1397784' first='Pierson' last='Morganfield']. After reviewing his tape from his junior year, I could tell in Aberdeen that Pierson brought more balance across the board with his footwork, hand placement, and surely saw more downhill drive-blocking ability. I also was impressed with the improvement of his agile movement especially to his left side as that struck a chord pretty persistently on Pierson during the live eval at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase. He checked in too verified at 6'4 and came in about 10-12 pounds bigger which I could tell that frame grew from the weight room. He is one that I already have circled as a stockriser, and one that college coaches should continue to watch closely this summer out of Rapid City St. Thomas More.

The college coaches and I agreed that Luke was an intriguing one that rose up our boards with his live eval last Saturday. The verified 6'3 243 pounder was an All-Stater as a junior out of Wahpeton, and one that across the board in the reps I watched showed off the balance, from his footwork, pad-level, and just overall poise as a top-tier offensive linemen last Saturday. Luke also showed off one of the most athletic bases in the entire OL group from these eyes and others, as one that I could tell relished the attention to detail to develop quickly based what I saw last Saturday. He surely is going to be one to track this summer as certainly a 2026 OL that can play on Saturdays at the scholarship level.
