Kolte is a tight end in this 2026 class that has seen his stock rise over the last several months. The now 6'4 225 pounder from West Central, has rose his stock in my eyes from a year ago due to his growing frame, and it is evident that he has been in the weight room working on speed and agility a ton, as his first step showed me much more twitch than a year ago with an even bigger frame. Known as a blocking tight end, he shows why he is in the top-tier in that category in this class. Consistently on tape, you will see Kolte take control of his defender, with great pad-level, drive and another under the radar trait, his angle-blocking. One NAIA offer thus far, but I surely expect that to change by summer.

Our LB2 which is Luke Lebrun out of Mitchell in the South Dakota 2026 class, is one that I am surprised hasn't gotten his first offer yet as we enter late May, but I would bet that changes in under two months. The verified 6'4 205 pounder, moves with some of the best fluidity and range for his size in this 2026 class amongst the linebacker group. If you like smashing contact in the backfield, Luke could be a fit for your program and that's not all he does well. I think you also get some position flexibility with this young man, as he plays almost like an EDGE for the Tigers which with that size, you have plenty of room to groom. He surely looks like a great fit in the NSIC or RMAC to me. Twitter

My gut tells me Jensen is coming out with a chip on his shoulder into summer, as a All-Conference Honorable Mention that when you roll the tape, easily looks like a first teamer incoming into his senior season. The 6'0 210 pounder from Sioux Falls Christian, shows off the agile twitch that impresses me coming out of his stance, as it doesn't take look to see the wirey motor come out once he identifies the ball carrier as Jensen made another leap forward this fall with his vision too as he was a stockriser in our last 2026 update. Jensen also plays with a rumbling downhill presence as a run-stopper that you can't miss at all. One local NSIC program has offered Jensen as I wouldn't be surprised to see more come in within the next-level surely.

Jason is one of three defensive linemen we have ranked with our top 20 in the 2026 class and is one that I still feel is way under-recruited. The 6'4 246 pound defensive end from Fargo Davies, quickly drew my attention with his inside move, as there plenty of agile twitch and compatible force exchanged when he gets downhill to the ball carrier. He shows off some of the softest hands off his sheds that you will see amongst defensive ends in this class in my eyes. The first time All-State defensive end in 2024, comes with just one NSIC offer that he got early from a D2 national semifinalist last season as although I expect him to pick up steam within the next month or less on his recruting trail. Twitter

Talk about a 2026 defensive linemen that knows how to attack the ball, as [player_tooltip player_id='1407835' first='Brennen' last='Gable'] from West Fargo Sheyenne nearly broke a school record for tackles for a loss with 27 as a junior for the Mustangs. It would be hard for any college coach to miss the football IQ and short area vision Brennen has at his disposal as surely if I was a college recruiter, the IQ matters more to me than the height/weight profile. Brennan also has the agile hands that I like off the snap of the snap as that consistency on tape resonates with me. I can tell when the ball carrier gets near Brennen, that his eyes light up swiftly. One that I am surprised wtihout his first offer yet.
