As a sophomore operating on a playoff team in the state's largest classification of schools, Newton more than showed he belonged. He led the Little Hawks in receptions (36) and receiving yardage (426), adding three touchdowns. Newton works well out of the slot, as his frame would portend. He runs crisp underneath routes and can make defenders miss in space. Newton also beats opponents from the outside, utilizing speed and quickness. The set of skills he shows on his sophomore highlight video would play on defense and special teams, too.

Lindgren flashed potential last season, as we can see during his sophomore highlight video. He looked advanced for an underclassmen operating at center, a position with multiple important responsibilities. Lindgren appears comfortable snapping in shotgun or with the quarterback at the line. He's gets the ball off and bursts into the defender's chest in an explosive motion. Lindgren is physical at the point of attack. Keep an eye on this kid in 2025.

There aren't a lot of sophomore game clips on Marshall's Hudl page. What is displayed reveals an offensive lineman with agility and athleticism. He effortlessly reaches blocks in space, his quickness allowing him to pick off guys on multiple levels during the same play. Marshall can whiff when he gets off balance, an area on which to focus development. He can mix it up in close quarters as well and appears to have a frame capable of filling out quite a bit more without him losing any of what makes him effective already.

Marxen mostly developed on the sophomore team last season with a senior starter at the varsity helm. He did complete one of his two varsity throws. It went for a touchdown. His sophomore highlight video contains an interesting left-handed prospect that can spin it. The arm strength pops out during the first few clips. It allows Marxen to zip the ball into right windows. He gives defenses more to think about with his running ability. Marxen can gash them on designed runs and burn them when delivering off schedule.

Meester spent most of the 2024 season developing on the JV team. He did rush for 52 yards and a touchdown on the varsity. Meester should see an increased workload during this coming campaign with the Dragons graduating plenty of running back production. His 10th-grade highlight video offers hope for success in a larger role. Meester proves to be a complete player at the position. He looks like a slot receiver catching the ball out of the backfield, runs effectively between the tackles, has moves to make defenders miss in space and speed to outrun them. It's a skill set that could work at other positions, too.

You can view Milam in a few clips contained on his Hudl page. He also posted clips on his social media account. While there's limited footage, the potential is present. Milam is a bigger receiver capable of breaking tackles or outrunning defenders. He uses his frame to hold off defensive backs on slant passes and can go over them for grabs, too. Milam looks like a prime candidate to take a major step forward in 2025 and make an impact on varsity.
