Friday Film Room: Evaluation and Information

<p>At Prep Redzone, we consistently evaluate film for both ranked and unranked prospects. Below, we evaluate five prospects' films and provide information regarding each athlete.</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1602840' first='Jeremiah' last='Shaw'] plays in a Flexbone option offense, primarily a run-blocking scheme. He displays good initial quickness in to his base and reach blocks. Shaw possesses a strong punch with solid hand placement, lower body strength, and active feet to drive and displace out of gaps. He has the size you want for the next level. He demonstrates solid initial quickness in both run and pass-blocking situations. Additionally, he plays with a solid motor and play strength. He displays solid burst off the snap, engaging the OL with solid hand placement and pad level, reading and shedding to make a play at the line of scrimmage or in the backfield. He can contain the edge and chase down ball carriers from behind. He displays solid hand-eye coordination, body control, and strong hands, allowing him to win contested catches at the catch point. Reith is also effective at attacking the seam and the middle of the field. He will break out even more this summer and the upcoming season. He's a versatile and athletic prospect with experience at quarterback and a defensive back. Bell is a dual-threat quarterback who will hurt you at all phases. He displays solid ball placement at all levels of the field with solid arm strength. Good foot speed, change of direction, lateral agility, and vision. Defensively, he's a ball hawk with solid read and react ability, putting himself in a position to make a play on the football at the catch point.
