<p>Top athletes from around the state will compete Thursday, Friday and Saturday at LSU's Bernie Moore Stadium.</p>

<p>In addition to the long jump, <strong>Melancon</strong> also enters the week with the top triple jump distance (45-04.00) and one of the top high jump marks (6-04.00) in the class.</p>

<p>St. Edmund running back <strong>Henry Summerlin</strong> boasts the second-best qualifying mark in the pole vault (10-04.00) with the Ascension Catholic duo of <strong>Karson Folse</strong> (10-00.00) and <strong>Kole Folse</strong> (9-06.00), Westminster Christian receiver <strong>Parker Campo</strong> (10-00.00) and St. Mary's receiver <strong>Chalin Gandy</strong> (9-08.00) in the mix. </p>

<p>The 110-meter also includes Delhi athlete <strong>Devin Miles</strong> (14.98), General Trass athlete <strong>Jamarion Ware</strong> (15.25), J.S. Clark receiver <strong>Kevin Brown</strong> (15.59), North Iberville safety <strong>Dekai Butler</strong> (15.81), Southern Lab corner <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1851177' first='Mason' last='Boyd']</strong> (15.82) and Riverside Academy safety <strong>Jace Trosclair</strong> (16.77) in the field.</p>
