There are always athletes who go under the radar and don't necessarily get the hype of other players. Here we will take a look at individuals who earned all-conference honors last season and should play a key role for their teams this coming year..

OFFENSE

[player_tooltip player_id='1663106' first='Samuel' last='Wilkes'] 6-5 270 26' T Issaquah

Wilkes was a 2nd team all-conference selection and is one of the more intriguing line prospects in the state heading into next season. He has a legit D1 frame with the potential blow up if he puts together some good tape as a senior.

[player_tooltip player_id='1663108' first='Grayson' last='Eggers'] 6-1 205 26' TE/LB/KR Newport

Look for Eggers to make a nice jump up the rankings board when updated, after an impressive junior campaign that saw him go for 1000+ all-purpose yards and 12 TDs. As good as he was on offense he could project at LB.

[player_tooltip player_id='1663109' first='Spencer' last='Bogh'] 5-11 185 26' RB/S Liberty

Definitely one of the more underrated kids in WA. Bogh went for over 1000+ all-purpose yards, averaging 5.4 yards per rush and 14.5 yards per catch, to go with 5 TDs. On top of that his 74 tackles and 2 INTs led the defense. He was a 2nd team all-conference selection on both sides of the football and will be in the POY conversation this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1663111' first='Deven' last='Vigue'] 6-2 185 26' QB Prairie

Vigue is another one of the region's top 3 sport athletes leading the Falcons at QB, while accounting for 2000+ passing/rushing yards and 25 TDs last year. You have to like his size and the core group that they return next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1663113' first='Austin' last='Schildt'] 5-8 155 26' WR Issaquah

One of the fastest players in Washington (10.9 100 meters). Schildt did his thing and then some as a junior, catching 47 passes for 613 yards and 9 TDs. He was a 2nd team all-conference kid and could put up some ridiculous numbers this year with the graduation of standout [player_tooltip player_id='1136422' first='Blake' last='Blumenthal'].

[player_tooltip player_id='1663115' first='Brian' last='Martinez'] 6-3 330 26' OL/NT Skyview

Martinez moves incredibly well for a lineman with his dimensions. His ability to get out and lead on blocks is a testament to his potential. He was a 2nd team all-conference guy on the O line and someone who can play on either side of the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1663116' first='Ronin' last='Holmes'] 5-9 195 26' RB Lake Washington

Holmes carried the load for Lake Washington rushing 175 times for 800+ yards and 5 TDs. He kept them competitive in multiple ball games with a balanced rushing attack, averaging 4.6 yards per carry on the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1663118' first='Ameer' last='Johnson'] 5-10 165 26' WR Rainier Beach

I could see Johnson having a big senior season after earning honorable mention all-conference accolades last year. Defense's will pay a lot of attention to [player_tooltip player_id='402796' first='Oteko' last='Mwamba'] after his return from injury, freeing up his counterpart to do more work at receiver.

[player_tooltip player_id='1663120' first='Tommie' last='Vick'] 5-7 150 26' Slot Prairie

One of top overall 3 sport athletes in Southwest Washington. Vick earned 1st team all-conference accolades at WR and 2nd team DB honors. Look for D3 high end academic universities to be vying for his services.

[player_tooltip player_id='1663121' first='Masyn' last='Gard'] 6-3 240 26' OL Shelton

Shelton had a rough year going 2-8, making Gard's 1st team all GSL honors that much more impressive. He has good size and plays even bigger than he is, while also doing well on the basketball floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1663123' first='Troy' last='Platt'] 6-0 255 26' T/G Liberty

As a 6-0' tackle you aren't going to be a big-time recruit, but Platt did an outstanding job for Liberty up front, garnering much respect from his peers and the coaches in the league. He was a 2nd team all KingCo selection.
