We have some gunslingers in this bunch. There are also some quarterbacks who can get things done with their legs. Let's take a look at the top five quarterbacks in the 2027 class of Mississippi.

[player_tooltip player_id='403635' first='Sladen' last='Shack']

Shack is one of the best quarterbacks in the state. He is a 6-foot, 190-pound stud who led his team to the 7A state title game this past season. Shack knows how to get the football to his teammates. He is also capable of tucking it away and running with the rock. We think that his stock will continue to rise. He is from Brandon.

[player_tooltip player_id='679621' first='Kellen' last='Hall']

Hall is a guy who hardly ever makes mistakes on the football field. Hall is a 6-foot-2, 170-pound quarterback who has a very good arm. We have seen him in person at a combine as well as practice and a game. This young man is the truth. He knows how to get things done on the football. You can also see that he is a general when he is in the pocket. Hall is a very accurate quarterback who you should keep your eyes on.

[player_tooltip player_id='1595147' first='Caiden' last='Wade']

Wade is one of the best prospects who we have been keeping up with since he was a freshman. This past season was his first season as a varsity starter. We are expecting him to get better and better. He is going to be one of those guys who has the ability to get loose with his legs as well. Kosciusko is going to be really lucky to have him over the next two seasons.

Pruet James

James is a quarterback from Jackson Academy who we like a lot. He stepped up big for his team this past season. We are looking forward to seeing him in a combine setting for more evaluations. He does things good on the football field. He is an accurate quarterback who knows how to get the football out on time. We are going to be sure to keep our eyes on him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1238543' first='Tootie' last='Lindsey']

Lindsey won a state title as a freshman for West Jones in the 2023 season. He was a real playmaker for his team that season. Yes, West Jones is known for running the football, but Lindsey did a good job of managing the game for his team. When they needed him to complete passes, he did exactly what they needed him to do. He may play a position on than quarterback on the next level, but right now, he is holding it down in the backfield.
