[player_tooltip player_id='972082' first='Gavin' last='Gilardi'] has clearly taken a big step forward since his last appearance at the PRZ Middle School Combine, both physically and in his game. He's grown noticeably taller, and that added size has only enhanced his presence in the pocket. His first throw of the weekend—a perfectly placed ball down the sideline—was a sign of what was to come. Even though it was dropped, the throw was on the money. Gavin stands tall under pressure, keeps a strong base, and consistently scans the field with active eyes, showing a mature understanding of coverage for his age.

His quick release and confidence in tight windows stood out throughout the event. On one play, he floated a perfect pass just over the linebacker in the back of the end zone for a touchdown—showcasing elite placement and touch. Delbarton has a future star under center in Gilardi, a true gunslinger with all the tools to make a big impact.

[player_tooltip player_id='1544965' first='Jamir' last='Howell'] put together a strong showing over the weekend, showcasing his versatility and playmaking ability on both sides of the ball. Lining up at wide receiver, he displayed a fluid, athletic build with shifty hips and sharp route-running, quickly becoming a primary target for Gavin. He showed great body control with smart adjustments mid-route to secure catches. On defense, Howell made a big impact at safety, jumping a route to pick off a two-point conversion attempt by reading the quarterback's eyes and reacting decisively. A standout for Irvington, Jamir is a rising talent to keep an eye on heading into 2025.

[player_tooltip player_id='1295926' first='Eric' last='Thompson'] was a lockdown presence in the secondary all weekend, living up to his reputation as a true shut-down corner. Opposing quarterbacks rarely looked his way, a testament to the respect he commands in coverage. With a lengthy, lean frame and a sprinter's speed, Thompson glides across the field, effortlessly flipping his hips and staying in phase with receivers. He showed strong awareness in zone coverage, smoothly passing off routes and picking up threats with ease. A quiet but dominant performance from one of the weekend's top defensive backs.

[player_tooltip player_id='910817' first='Nyron' last='Snerling'] was electric all weekend, earning top performer honors with his dynamic play on both sides of the ball. Though smaller in stature, he more than made up for it with elite quickness, shiftiness, and explosive bursts after the catch. A go-to target on offense, Snerling consistently found space and made defenders miss in the open field with ankle-breaking moves. Once the ball was in his hands, he accelerated like a blur, turning short throws into big gains. Undoubtedly one of the top athletes in the state, Snerling made a statement as a game-changer every time he stepped on the field.
