Tampa Catholic Has Busy Spring, Summer Ahead

Nobody has to tell Tampa Catholic head football coach Mike Gregory, his assistants or players that last season was not what this program is all about.

As the off-season began, and the race for spring and summer was under way, turning this program back around and getting it to the level it had been at for many decades would take more than talk.

What the Crusaders needed was total commitment from everyone associated with the team and that has been the theme throughout December, January, February, March and into April.

While District 8-2A is competitive, getting to the level of a Tampa Berkeley Prep or Clearwater Calvary Christian is something that will become a reality.

The talent level on this team is indeed stacked with potential, but the 2025 season will be all about tapping into those prospects and helping to elevate their potential.

With several Class of 2028 (rising sophomores) and incoming 2029 freshmen looking to be a part of the change, it will be all about this rising senior (2026) and junior (2027) group that needs to take that lead role.
