After just over a week of content flowing thru our PRZ Minnesota site from our Minnesota Combine, we move our focus back all in on the Dakotas, as today we focused on evals on South Dakota 2026s that you will want to offer prior to camp season before their recruiting heats up in our eyes. Includes, rising offensive linemen, A QB that I am super high on, and what development could we want to see from these young men during camp season and beyond.

Brady might have the best poise getting out of a jam I have seen in this 2026 class amongst the quarterbacks still waiting on their first offer. The 6'3 190 pounder from Viborg-Hurley shows off a level of difficulty from his first reps that end up being high level throws under duress that exempify the arm talent this young man has for the taking. He shows off almost a robotic quick release that shouldn't take long to be seen which shows me how much his mechanics have progressed upwards since our first live eval of Brady a couple years back. I'll admit, this young man should be a jumper in our 2026 rankings by next update and in my eyes, is not a QB I would wait around until summer to make an offer.

Colby Flowers, TE, WWSSC Twitter

The 6'5 215 pounder from WWSSC, shows off one of the better releases as a route-runner than you would expect at his size as there is plenty of fluidity to his quick movement as well. Colby also is affluent getting yards after contact consistently and from the reps you can find on tape, it takes sometimes a plethora of defenders to bring him to the turf. Colby also shows off an intriguing upside with his run-blocking as he shows that he has the pad-level down and just needs to develop further with his technique in what already is an empowering frame that still has good wiggle room to grow out his frame. Tight ends with Colby's size in this state are a dime in a dozen, so I surely believe scholarship level programs shouljd act now, not later on Colby.

Bryce Bangasser, OL, Brandon Valley Twitter

Bryce shows off one of the highest developing offensive linemen in this class since we first evaluated him as just a sophomore. The 6'3 265 pounder from Brandon Valley, in the live evals I have gotten to me shows off almost every ounce of that frame as his leverage and drive blocking ability has grown substancially even from one year ago as you can assure Bryce is offensive tackle that will block until that whistle blows. He has also put together a more agile first step and that increased foot speed shows off a right tackle that can multi-engage on muliple defenders off one snap. He is one that I feel is going to blow up this summer especially in the NSIC so I say why not get a jump on him early?

Asher Peil, OL, Spearfish Twitter

Asher to me thru several live evals now, is one of South Dakota's hardest working offensive linemen that is out there in this 2026 class out from the up and comers in 11AA the Spearfish Spartans. The 6'0 260 pounder, has been in my top-tier group of offensive linemen at every Prep Redzone Combine and college camp we have attendance as Asher dominates the point of attack and we love his football IQ that just keeps on getting better and better.Asher has outstanding strength that gets into the seocnd level persistently on tape and has some of the nastiest punching ability I have seen in this 2026 class especially as a pull-blocker. He has some NAIA offers on the table, but man I would be remissed if I didn't feel Asher's ideal fit runs at the D2 level. You can kick the tires in my mind with the "ideal measurables" theory as this young man is a mauler you go outside the threshold for as one of the best in this 2026 class with that threshold point of view.

Josh Elder, LB, Rapid City St. Thomas More Twitter

Josh shows off a football IQ quickly on tape that trends to the ball with his lead steps as a middle linebacker that wastes no time getting to the ball carrier on a consistent basis. The 6'1 220 pounder from Rapid City St. Thomas More, shows off pure instincts eating into the A-gap quckly and shows off a tackling ability that is well-versed as Josh makes plenty of textbook tackles on tape. From a development standpoint, I would love to see at college camps this summer how rangey Josh can be from outside the inside box as with the instincts being competitive in my eyes, I feel that he might be more rangey than he gets credit for. Josh is one of several Cavaliers that need to be on college recruiting boards in the 2026 and 2027 classes as they have come out of nowhere in the last year or so.

Tate Connell, DB, Sioux Falls Christian Twitter

It will not take you long at all to realize the ballhawk skills that are there for the taking for Sioux Falls Christian 2026 defensive back Tate Connell. Another example of a safety that is a right place, right time type of next-level target in my eyes. I surely am intrigued with how well-versed this young man is from a footwork perspective and shows off the excellent twitch getting downhill with plenty of sudden movement that is eruptive with his pass breakups time and time again on tape. The 5'10 180 pounder is another one on this list that you have to look at the football IQ, agile movement and physicality that he shows position flexibility to me at the safety position.
