SHEC Elite were the winners of the PRZ PA Classic 7v7, and made their presence felt in a big way. Though I didn't get to watch them as much as I would've liked, what I did see — and what I heard from others — left no doubt: they were a cut above the rest. Going a perfect 8-0 over the two-day tournament, they didn't just win — they dominated. With Division I talent spread across the roster, this squad has proven they can hold their own anywhere, and they're more than ready to make noise on the national stage.

Heading into the weekend, Vic asked me a simple question: “Who are the players to watch coming out of New Jersey?” The first name that came to mind was [player_tooltip player_id='965246' first='Mekhi' last='Parker'] — and he didn't disappoint. From the moment he stepped on the field, it was clear he was a different caliber of athlete. He was nearly impossible to cover, showcasing the full WR1 toolkit: speed, size, athleticism in space, and elite hands.

He capped off the PA Classic as the tournament's undisputed MVP and top overall performer — a title backed up by a chorus of praise from scouts and coaches alike. Parker, one of the top receiving threats in the state, suits up for a loaded Glassboro squad and lived up to every bit of the hype. With offers already in from schools like Syracuse, UConn, and UTSA, and more sure to follow, Parker's stock is only rising. Expect big things from him — and from Glassboro — in 2025.

One of my favorite receivers in the class, Emanuel is a must-watch talent I've been following for a while, and I was glad to finally see him in action Saturday morning. Other scouts couldn't stop talking about how sharp and sudden he was in and out of his routes, consistently leaving defenders behind on his breaks — he was simply uncoverable. One standout moment came when he ran a textbook wheel route to the end zone, tracking the ball perfectly as it dropped in over the defender's shoulder for a score. Emanuel is a name to keep an eye on as we come closer to the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1054424' first='Ahmad' last='Jones'] put on a show at the PA Classic, performing at an elite level to help SHEC Elite take home the championship. Despite only playing on Sunday, he made every snap count, lighting up defenses with pinpoint accuracy and elite field awareness. His ball placement was flawless, consistently throwing his receivers open and threading the needle between coverages. Jones displayed sharp decision-making and a deep understanding of the game, always knowing where his weapons were and how to exploit the defense. A top quarterback prospect in New Jersey, he's definitely a player to watch as he heads into his senior season at Camden.

Khajuan was another elite quarterback who lit it up at the PA Classic, giving SHEC Elite the luxury of having two standout QBs on one roster. With a strong arm and the confidence to let it rip downfield, he showed complete trust in his receivers to go up and make plays. What stood out most was his ability to layer the ball with just the right touch — lofting it over coverage and dropping dimes in the back of the end zone. His quick decision-making and sharp footwork allowed him to pivot effortlessly and square up to his targets, making life difficult for defenders all morning on Saturday. A true field general and a future West Chester Golden Ram, Khajuan made it clear he's ready for the next level.
