Scouting Report: Five Arkansas Linebackers

<p>The talent in the Natural State is growing across the 2026-2028 classes. These athletes possess the skills to compete at the next level, including FBS, FCS, D2, D3, NAIA, or JUCO. Here are five scouting reports:</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1658607' first='Brennan' last='Lee'] just received an offer from North Alabama. He's a versatile prospect who can be positioned all over the field on the defensive side of the ball.</p>   <p>Lee displays a high motor. He plays sideline-to-sideline, chasing down ball carriers from behind. He will fill gaps post-snap and can contain the edge if needed. He takes good angles in pursuit and has solid read-and-react ability against both the run and pass. He plays with a high motor and will excel against the run and in zone coverage.</p>   <p>Baltz showcases a quick first step, effectively scanning the backfield with his eyes and quickly reading and reacting to plays. This allows him to shoot through gaps, making plays at the LOS or in the backfield against the run. Additionally, he can diagnose play-action passes and drop back into coverage. He plays with a high motor, chasing down ball carriers from behind and punching the ball out. His quickness and ability to diagnose quickly enable him to shoot gaps to make a play at the line of scrimmage or in the backfield. Off the edge, he can contain and force plays against the run, or pressure the quarterback in the pocket. He's also a force on special teams. Expect him to experience another significant rise in our rankings.</p>   <p class="text-gray-700">Norah displays a sideline-to-sideline motor with good athletic ability. When working through his zone, he showcases good COD and lateral quickness. He has solid read-and-react ability when attacking downhill against the run or arriving at the catch point to force a PBU or INT. He also has solid angles and physicality at the POA when in pursuit of the ball carrier. He plays like a true Mike linebacker and, due to his skill set, can play Will.</p>   <p class="text-gray-700">Lumsey displays strong mental processing, enabling him to quickly read and react to both the running and passing games. He has a quick first step, good foot speed, and strength, which allows him to take solid angles and disengage from blockers when attacking downhill.
