Red Wolves hosts talented Prospects

The spring football sessions are in the books for the Arkansas State Red Wolves. Head coach Butch Jones continues to recruit the state of Arkansas in impressive fashion. Over the weekend, Arkansas State was host to numerous prospects to watch over the spring and summer. Here are several players to keep track of as we move closer to the summer practice sessions.   [player_tooltip player_id='731120' first='Jackson' last='Elam']-Kicker-Batesville-6'0” 170-Pounds-2026   [player_tooltip player_id='731120' first='Jackson' last='Elam'] has had a tremendous high school career and is highly accurate. Elam can connect on kicks from 40-plus yards and has the accuracy to drill each kick. Meanwhile, from a punting perspective the combination of leg strength and hang time causes plenty of problems for opposing punt returners. Elam is a special teams weapon and is a prospect to watch out for over the next few months. Elam had the opportunity to visit Arkansas State over the weekend.   [player_tooltip player_id='364854' first='Cody' last='Taylor']-Offensive Line-Greenwood-6'3” 308-Pounds-2026   [player_tooltip player_id='364854' first='Cody' last='Taylor'] is an offensive lineman who mixes speed with power well. He explodes out of the stance and gets into opposing defenders quickly. Taylor can drive opposing defenders backward and does a great job of using his hands to redirect defenders. He is an offensive lineman who has no trouble opening up the rushing lanes for his running backs. Taylor had the opportunity to spend the weekend in Jonesboro and take in the Arkansas State Spring football game.   [player_tooltip player_id='1617417' first='Jaiden' last='Walter']-Offensive Line-Jacksonville-6'2” 249-Pounds-2027   [player_tooltip player_id='1617417' first='Jaiden' last='Walter'] is a quick offensive lineman who gets out of the stance quickly. He does a nice job of mirroring the opposing pass rusher. Meanwhile, Walter is a prospect who does an impressive job of opening up rushing lanes. Walter is a player to watch out for over the next few months. He has the potential to open plenty of eyes. Over the weekend, Walter had the opportunity to take in the Arkansas State Spring game in Jonesboro.   [player_tooltip player_id='1363705' first='Sam' last='Boozer']-Long Snapper-Little Rock Catholic-6'4” 228-Pounds-2026   [player_tooltip player_id='1363705' first='Sam' last='Boozer'] has been a mainstay for the Little Rock Catholic Rockets over the past few years. He delivers consistent snaps and does not cause problems for the holder. He delivers each one with good speed, and he gets out of the stance well. Boozer is a prospect to watch out for this season. He had the opportunity to visit Arkansas State over the weekend. He was able to visit the Red Wolves during the spring game weekend. Boozer is a player to watch out for over the next few months. However, prospects are starting to emerge on to the scene. [player_tooltip player_id='1179231' first='Logan' last='Hart'] is a quarterback who is not afraid to test the secondary with the deep ball. He buys time in the pocket and knows when to use his legs to extend the play. Hart spent the weekend in Jonesboro taking in the Arkansas State Spring football game. Hart is a prospect to watch out for over the next couple of seasons.
