PRZ PAClassic: 4QE Grey

While the team didn't produce the result they had hoped for heading into the weekend at the PRZ PA Classic 7v7, there were still a handful of standout moments worth highlighting. Despite the outcome, several players delivered performances that deserve recognition. With the fall season on the horizon, we'll get a clearer picture of their on-field potential—but for now, here are three players who made their presence felt during the tournament.

While the team didn't perform up to expectations, [player_tooltip player_id='1278650' first='Brady' last='Hammond'] caught my attention early Saturday morning. The soon-to-be junior quarterback stood out with his physical presence—tall, well-built, and clearly developed beyond his years. Even though the offense didn't consistently move the ball down the field, Hammond flashed traits that should translate well under the lights this fall. He's got a strong arm, good poise in the pocket, and the kind of tools that suggest he's just getting started. With two seasons ahead of him, there's real potential for Hammond to take a big leap.

Ziyon Collins is a true athlete in every sense of the word. Arguably the most athletic player on the team, he consistently stood out on both sides of the ball throughout the tournament. Lining up primarily in the slot, Collins showcased lightning-quick cuts across the middle and the kind of agility that made him a nightmare for defenders to keep up with. His speed, change of direction, and ability to create separation made him one of the most dynamic offensive threats on the field. Whether he had the ball in his hands or was locking down on defense, Collins was constantly making plays.

[player_tooltip player_id='1773109' first='McCade' last='Cummings'] quietly put together a strong showing and flashed real promise in coverage throughout the 7v7 weekend. Though listed as a running back and wide receiver on X, he looked right at home as a versatile defender, showing the ability to cover like a safety. His quick feet and anticipation allowed him to stay stride for stride with opposing wideouts as they broke on their routes. As he heads into his senior season, Cummings is a name worth keeping an eye on—his versatility and athleticism give him the potential to make an impact wherever he lines up.
