After a little break from the rankings, we head back to our 2027 rankings countdown in North Dakota looking at prospects ranked #69 to #65.

Jonathan is a prospect that excits me with the future that his upside could grow in the comings. He shows off good and growing on ball instincts and is even more impressive with his athletic ball tracking ability. At the quarterback position, he shows off an athlete that is fluid with his change of direction once he leaves the pocket. Jonathan also shows off promising potential throwing on intermediate routes as when he uses his elusivness outside of the pocket, he doesn't lose nearly any arm strength and shows even with light tape, can fit the ball in some tight windows in the red zone.

[player_tooltip player_id='1314710' first='Emmit' last='Lagge'], LB, Velva-Drake-Anamose-Garrison 2027 Twitter

Give me that middle linebacker that plays with instincts that might be undersized but looks like a next-level prospect, which describes [player_tooltip player_id='1314710' first='Emmit' last='Lagge'] of Velva-Drake-Anamoose-Garrison to a T. The 5'10 170 pounder for the Aggies, wastes no time plugging the gap to make his tackles, which show off a great physicality and consistency. Emmit also plays with a competitive motor that shows off the good movement to just about get from sideline to sideline. I surely think this kid could be a mover by next update and looks like one that will play on Saturdays.

[player_tooltip player_id='1625504' first='Brady' last='Vetter'], DB, Fargo Davies 2027 Twitter

If you like length at the cornerback position, you will like what you see from Fargo Davies cornerback [player_tooltip player_id='1625504' first='Brady' last='Vetter'], who stands at 6'3 and is a long strider from these eyes. Most of his reps on JV show off quick processing getting downhill to stop the run, however whenever this young man gets near the ball you get the pop you want to see from a contact perspective as a prospect that I feel his speed amps up stronger the closer to the ball he gets. The pass coverage shows Brady mostly in zone coverage that pops to the ball, however the ceiling can rise if he finds more reps in 2025 in man coverage as there is a handful of skillsets I like for Brady in the coming years. I could also see position flexiblity for him at safety at the next-level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1625518' first='Josiah' last='Johnson'], ATH, Bismarck Century 2027 Twitter

Josiah is another 6'3 athlete in this grouping of our rankings countdown out of Bismarck Century. The 6'3 185 pounder intrigues me on tape with his instinctive movement he shows around the ball in pass coverage as a prospect that looks to make quick reads at safety to find the ball with ease. Offensively, Josiah pops out quick with his length and athleticism as a wide receiver in the open field and much like on defense, you can see the sudden explosion this kid can make in the open field. With more recent tape hopefully coming, Josiah could be a mover in this 2027 class from the Patriots.

[player_tooltip player_id='1626237' first='Owen' last='Sayler'], WR/ATH, Richland 2027

Owen is a prospect that plays on both sides of the ball for Richland that has eye-catching athleticism and burst at the top of his routes. He also shows off versatility with his route-running, as a wide receiver that flip into a possession receiver seeking around the first down marker. He shows off intriguing hands coming back on his routes in tight areas as there is a smoothness to his game as a pass-catcher. Owen also is a better run-blocker than he might get credit for as a prospect that understands with his football IQ how to angle block consistently. Would love to get some measurables on this young man hopefully soon.
