On the Road: Six Prospects In the Mitten To Know

We've been pounding the pavement in the Great Lakes State, gathering prospect lists from coaches and getting a feel for some of Michigan's best up-and-coming prospects and under-the-radar rising seniors who are looking to make a name for themselves. Here are five key prospects to know:    Big 6'7 250 with a good frame you can't coach, can hold more weight. Strong run blocker with a quick first step and good climb to 2nd level. Should have Power 4 offers just given his size and frame.     Has good height for the position, just thin and needs to add bulk but has time to do so. Flashes being an effective run blocker who can move, pull and run in space. Very under-the-radar prospect. Name to watch for at college camps.     Solid cornerback prospect with good height, size and arm length. Has good timing with his hands to break up passes, good closing speed on the ball, very disruptive. Wins jump-ball situations.     Great two-way lineman. Has a good first step as a DT, strong POA run defender with great ability to shed blocks. Anxious to see how he grows over the next two years. College fit likely at DT.     Waller has prototypical size for a linebacker. He is a stout against the run and has the frame to grow into a quality prospect. College camps could boost his recruiting.
