GEMS Alert: Prospects with Next Level Talent

<p>At Prep Redzone, our focus is on uncovering the hidden gems, the under-the-radar athletes who deserve recognition but often go unnoticed due to various factors. These prospects have the ability to compete at the next level, be it D1, D2, D3, NAIA, or JUCO, showcasing their considerable talents. Here are five prospects to add to your recruiting board:</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1509138' first='Jermaine' last='Singleton'] is rising on many people's boards, including ours. He has just received his first offer from App State. He plays on both sides of the ball, but I prefer him at the interior defensive tackle spot for the next level. Singleton is a two-gap plug and will require double teams due to his ability to penetrate quickly and effectively, generating pressure into the pocket. He's a versatile and athletic prospect who dominates at both defensive back and wide receiver. As a receiver, he is a smooth route runner who can stretch the defense vertically. He can find the soft spots in coverage while showcasing solid hand-eye coordination and body control. He displays a quick release due to his solid acceleration and foot quickness off the line of scrimmage, which allows him to cover ground quickly. Riggs is a smooth route runner with a solid leverage awareness, enabling him to find the soft spots between zone defenders. He shows good hand-eye coordination, body control, and balance, as well as strong hands for catching the ball in contested situations or adjusting mid-route. Additionally, he can elevate to secure the jump ball in one-on-one matchups, making him a genuine red zone threat. Riggs possesses an extensive route tree, which can enhance your offense schematically. He continues to grow and develop each offseason. He has experience inside and out throughout the offensive line. Morales displays solid initial quickness into his base and reach blocks, utilizing solid pad level, hand placement, and active feet to generate leverage and drive effectively. However, he stands out as a defensive back or wide receiver for the next level. Radford is athletic and will stretch the defensive vertically. He displays a quick release due to solid acceleration and foot quickness. He's able to create separation off breaks and be a threat after the catch. Defensively, he displays solid fluidity to transition and stick with his man vertically or off breaks.
