<h2 class="wp-block-heading">In-depth film evaluations of the AZ prospects earning their initial college offers.</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Baker is solid utility player for Canyon View that picked up his first offer from in state Arizona Christian. 6'1” 205 lbs. he saw time and was effective playing TE, WR, LB, and even Center as a sophomore. Currently he projects as a TE, where he can attack the short and intermediate levels of the field. Does a great job locating the soft spot in coverage and creating a window. Consistent and reliable catching the football and then gets vertical up the field. Background as a center makes him a strong blocker in the run game. He's able to move his feet and get to the spot to establish positional leverage and then initiate contact. Latches on and sustains his blocks with good hand usage and placement. One to watch going into his senior year.</p>      <p class="text-gray-700">Guilford is a solid dual sport athlete (football/baseball) that led Sunrise Mountain in tackles as a junior with 72 total adding 11TFL. Possesses a good frame with length and growth potential to add mass at 6'3” 215 lbs. He's extremely active playing downhill with urgency and aggressiveness. Can take on and shed blocks with heavy hands and routinely finishes tackles with violence. He's instinctual playing with plus anticipation and play recognition skills to diagnose run/pass and locate the ball. He's quick to react and close space. Against the run, he's physical when filling gaps while maintaining good positioning and leverage. Flashes good positional versatility by being effective playing TE, H-back, or even lining up in the backfield in short yardage situations. He's a throwback player that brings toughness and physicality to both sides of the ball. First offered by Ottawa (IA) but should see more coming in as the recruiting cycle progresses.</p>      <p class="text-gray-700">Rudy is an attacking defender for Mountain View coming in at 6'0” 205 lbs. He flies to the football with a downhill trigger and consistently shows up around the ball whether it's run or pass. Quick diagnosis skills to read the play and locate the ball using good eye discipline. Shows a solid understanding of his assignment by setting the edge as a hybrid OLB/Edge. Can play flight down the line to contain the perimeter or make backside tackles before the play develops. Makes a ton of plays at or behind the LOS, finished the 2024 season with 17 TFL. Extremely effective blitzing off the edge, he demonstrates timing, burst, and the ability to defeat blocks in route to the QB. Technically sound as a tackler, he delivers contact with good leverage and wraps up to the ground. Earned his initial college offer from Ottawa (IA).</p>      <p class="text-gray-700">Wade is a rising prospect with all the physical tools that project well at the P4 level. Possesses ideal size, length, and growth potential at 6'4” 200 lbs. as a freshman. Still early on in his development with tons of raw ability he flashes natural bend, quick-twitch explosiveness, and a high motor coming off the edge. He's fast out of his stance and off the ball showing the ability to gain quick penetration on the snap and beat blockers with speed around the corner. Converts that speed into power at initial contact playing with good pad level and strength at the POA to fight through blocks. Uses his length to his advantage by maintaining separation and not allowing opponents to get into his body so that he can shed. Flashes plus short area burst and good long speed to pursue the ball from the backside or downfield.
