Film Room: 2026 Western Suburbs Wide Receivers Pt 2

During the offseason we will be breaking down the film of all the top prospects from across the state ahead of our massive 2026 rankings update in the upcoming months! Here is a look at some of the wide receivers in the 2026 class in Film Room: 2026 Western Suburbs Wide Receivers Pt 2!    Berggren is a 6'1" Batavia wide receiver that plays physical, boxes out, and can high point the ball in one on one situations. Speed with the rock in his hands. Strong hands with powerful cuts. Best on the skinny post or seam routes. Kick return threat.     Doyle racked up 65 catches for 1,131 yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior. The strong and stocky 5'11" 175 pound wide receiver has smooth acceleration and is excellent with over the shoulder catches. Very good on bubble screens with his ability to rack up yardage after the catch. Very good hands. Gets in and out of cuts well. Brings some value in kick return game.     Ijams is a 6'0" pass catcher out of Oswego East. He high points the ball in the air and is definitely a lob threat downfield. Goes and gets it. Tough over the middle and is a smooth route runner.     This past season Menos reeled in 48 catches for 625 yards along with 6 touchdowns in 8 games. High points passes in the endzone. Vertical threat that wins on go routes while getting off press coverage well. Tracks it very well in the air. Powerful with the ball in his hands. Snatches with hands on short and intermediate routes. Physical blocker.     Jenkins is a 5'9" wide receiver that racked up 675 all purpose yards and 6 touchdowns in 5 games played. He is best used as a gadget guy on handoffs, reverses, etc. Quickness and burst of speed with the ball in his hands. Brings return threat and possession catches.     Castaldo is a 6'0" wide receiver for state champion Montini. Slot that hits the seam and make plays vertically. Acrobatic catches, good hands, and a willing blocker.     Hrabcak is a 6'0" wide receiver from Ridgewood. High points jump balls. Very good on slant routes where he catches it naturally out in front of his body. Creates separation on comeback routes at the top.     Kolodzej is a 6'1" pass catcher that has excellent hands. Adjusts well to the ball and is a willing blocker.     Dohoney is a 5'10" 165 pound pass catcher that has good hands in traffic and makes some nice double moves.     Todd is a smaller wide receiver at 5'8" 140 pounds. Good speed as a slot WR. Sets up DB well. Good on comeback routes. Quickness shines on short and intermediate routes.
