Spartanburg's [player_tooltip player_id='1172345' first='Trenton' last='Lynch'] took home MVP honors on his home field, and it's easy to see why expectations around Lynch are off the charts. He runs with speed, balance, and power, has good hands, and is nearly always in a good position. He ran a 4.64 40, a 4.31 Pro Shuttle, and had a broad jump of 10 feet. He's been one of the top RBs in the state since he stepped on the field at Spartanburg, and he looks like he's not slowing down any time soon.

Lynch was joined by a bunch of Spartanburg County guys on the individual awards list. Vikings' teammate Steve Grayson won the vertical jump, with a mark of 39.1 inches, while Broome's [player_tooltip player_id='1453176' first='Brayden' last='Simpson'] turned in a 125-inch broad jump. Mountainview Prep's [player_tooltip player_id='1422557' first='Henry' last='Phillips'] competed in the morning with the other specialists, but earned his award for the afternoon, taking Top Specialist honors.

Boiling Springs players had an incredible day at the Combine. [player_tooltip player_id='473009' first='Jeremiah' last='Favorite'] won MVP honors in the morning session, and teammates [player_tooltip player_id='1466577' first='Deion' last='Suber'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1036731' first='Dennis' last='Glenn Jr'] brought home Offensive Skill and Defensive Line honors in the afternoon. Suber was a tough matchup in one-on-one drills, and Glenn continued to impress as well, creating a lot of havoc in the trench warfare portion of the day.

J.L.Mann doubled up on awards as well, with Christian Sullivan winning Offensive Line honors and [player_tooltip player_id='1809307' first='Shaun' last='Carvalho'] taking the Defensive Combo award. Other individual awards went to Wren's Matthew Casey for Offensive Combo, T.L. Hanna's [player_tooltip player_id='1664203' first='Travonne' last='Johnson'] for Defensive Skill, and Clinton's [player_tooltip player_id='630150' first='Owen' last='Glenn'], who won the coach-voted Leadership award.

In other individual awards, Easley's [player_tooltip player_id='862976' first='Cole' last='Watkins'] banged out 35 reps at 185 on the bench press, Wren's [player_tooltip player_id='663984' first='Carson' last='Bryant'] won the Pro Shuttle in a time of 4.2 seconds, and Pickens' [player_tooltip player_id='1708840' first='David' last='Bolden'] matched the fastest time all day in the 40-yard dash, running a 4.47.
