Here are some top, not all, rising prospects who are set to shape the future of Arkansas talent for the 2029 class:</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1663243' first='Charles' last='Cotton'] is a true zone runner, whether it's wide zone or inside. He displays solid post-snap vision, patiently reading first-level defenders to allow running lanes to develop. Cotton showcases good foot speed, allowing him to outrun defenders to the boundary and immediately get upfield. He displays good pre- and post-snap vision, reading the first level, locating and attacking the running lane with good burst. Holt showcases effective footwork to navigate through traffic. He's able to evade early penetration due to good contact balance to break tackles and solid change of direction and foot quickness to evade in space. Curne displays solid initial quickness off the snap and into his base and reach blocks, enabling him to either set the edge or displace defenders from gaps with active feet and solid hand placement. He is capable of setting the pocket in pass protection and anchoring effectively due to his good lower body, UOH, and good balance. He has been actively visiting colleges, with his most recent stop at Arkansas State. I've had the opportunity to see him work a couple of times in person, and he possesses the IQ and traits needed to succeed at the next level. Hart displays good footwork and mechanics, delivering the ball with good placement at all levels of the field. He generates torque through his hips, which enhances his velocity and allows him to thread the needle. Along with his velocity, he has the touch to layer the football over second-level defenders. His decision-making and mental processing skills are impressive for his age, effectively getting through 1 to 3 reads quickly. He has been developing his craft this offseason with a popular trainer known as the QB Doctor. Nelson is a quick, post-snap decision-maker who consistently targets the short-to-intermediate zones with solid ball placement. Overall, he demonstrates solid mechanics and footwork while in the pocket. His catch radius is impressive as he demonstrates solid hand-eye coordination, body control, and strong hands, allowing him to adjust mid-route or make contested catches.
