’24 Was A Wakeup Call For Tampa Alonso

After six games of the 2024 high school football season, the Tampa Alonso Ravens sat at 4-2 and were looking forward to a tough stretch run.
With an eye on advancing to the state playoffs, this team saw the last four games tell a story that ended them with an 0-4 mark in District 7-7A play and a 4-6 finish.
For head coach Hayden Cantrell and his team that solid start turned sour, and while there were several dejected players and coaches, the attention quickly pointed toward 2025 – with several key returners and making sure that what happened this past season doesn't repeat itself.
As spring is now under way and college coaches headed south, there has already been a lot of hard work put in, but to challenge teams such as Plant City, Riverview Sumner, Lithia Newsome and Dover Strawberry Crest, everyone on this team needs to keep raising the bar.
