Cartlidge is a 6-foot, 290-pound defensive lineman who we are expecting to see playing a little offense as well. He has a quick release from the line that makes it dangerous for his peers. We would love to see him get quicker and faster over the years. The better he is able to move, the more valuable that he will be.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1630485' first='Shamar' last='Nichols']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Nichols is an incredible wide receiver from Tupelo (MS) who is going to start picking up some division one attention when he gets some varsity film under his belt. We were able to see him in person at the You Are Athlete Combine. Nichols is a 6-foot-2, 175-pound prospect who is going to go up and get the football.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Correy Elder</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Elder is a player who we like a lot. His work ethic on the football field is simply amazing. He is going to be a player who receives some division one attention. Elder has a very polished arm that he is always working on. You are always going to see him posting videos of him doing what it takes to get better. This young man has been going around the nation representing for Poplarville in track and field. He is one of the fastest 2029 prospects in the whole nation. He could be getting some early playing time with the Hornets this season. They were thinking about sliding him in during a few games this past season.
