2027 Edge Rushers to watch this Spring

The class of 2027 has several talented prospects who can disrupt the opposing offensive backfield by coming off of the edge. He does an excellent job of using his speed to get into the opposing offensive backfield. Fecht sheds blocks quickly and can impact the run as well as the pass. He is a prospect who does not quit on a play, whether it be defending against the run or the pass. Rainey has the speed to consistently disrupt the opposing offensive backfield. He does an impressive job of defending against the run or the pass. Rainey can shut down the opposing rushing attack. He plays with a high motor and does not give up on a play. He comes out of the stance well and sheds blocks quickly. Wooten causes all kinds of problems for opposing offensive linemen. Wooten has an impressive mix of power and speed. He does not quit on a play and will pursue the ball carrier until he helps make the tackle. Wooten is a prospect to watch out for this spring. He is another defender who will not quit on a play. Thompson does an excellent job of pursuing the opposing ball carrier. Thompson is a player to watch out for this spring.
