On April 16, we're going to unveil a whole bunch of additions to the Class of 2026 rankings.

As in, there will be more than 70 additions to that class alone.

We've taken advantage of the last three month, digging even deeper into the 2024 football season and simultaneously paying attention to the offseason work these guys are putting into their craft.

The result is a monster rankings increase that will start with the players below. They're going to have plenty of company, but come April 16, they're going to have a number next to their names.

[player_tooltip player_id='1639706' first='Christian' last='Davis'] DB, Spartanburg

While we'll be interested to see how much (if any) Davis has able to put on this offseason in late April, we're not waiting to go ahead and move him into the rankings. At 5-foot-11 and 155 pounds, the cornerback is more than ready to step into the spotlight for a defense that lost some pivotal pieces after last fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1639657' first='Walker' last='Wilcox'] LB, Trinity Collegiate

Wilcox was a tackling machine who slipped past us in the hustle and bustle of the end of last season. He had 117 stops to go along with 22 tackles for loss. He's not a huge linebacker, but he's tough as nails (ask him about breaking his nose sometime) and capable of contending for SCISA's top tackler in 2025.

[player_tooltip player_id='1357963' first='Landon' last='Jackson'] DL, Berkeley

Truth be told, we had already put Jackson's name in ink before he showed up to the Carolinas Coaches Combines two weeks ago and put on a show. He's shrugged off any concerns about his lack of height by cranking his motor to the max and shrugging off would-be blockers. Is he a Power 4 guy? No, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have the tools to play college ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='402504' first='Parker' last='McMillen'] OL, Dorman

Any coach in the thick of Class 5A ball will tell you that having reliable interior linemen is often the difference between a little bit of a success and a lot of it. McMillen was made for the trenches. He's violent and unafraid of contact from multiple defenders and certainly doesn't need the headlines that often go to skill guys.

[player_tooltip player_id='1656624' first='Nick' last='Buggie'] TE, Lucy Beckham

We initially held back on Buggie since he missed nearly all of the 2024 season with a knee injury suffered during spring ball last year. Those concerns were put to rest when he popped off at the Carolinas Coaches Combines and won the award for the top offensive combo player for the second straight offseason. Buggie's healthy, and that's a huge plus for Lucy Beckham.

Jayden Boyd WR, Fairfield Central

Boyd has a type of speed that is only seen every so often at this level. He's got the goods to be a college track sprinter. Thankfully for us, his wheels translate to the game film, too. He's a deep threat on every pass play, and his willingness to run sweeps from the slot or outside gives the Griffons another opportunity to put the ball into his hands.

[player_tooltip player_id='1639669' first='Ashten' last='Wilson'] RB, Central

If Wilson wasn't 5-foot-8 and 150 pounds, more folks would be talking about him. He went over 2,000 career rushing yards in his final game of the 2024 season while averaging 7 yards per carry over his 284 career rushes. He's on a team full of weapons, and that deflection away from him will only help his numbers during his senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1639712' first='Triston' last='Lewis'] QB, Greenwood

Lewis' junior season including 1,400 passing yards, 800 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns split evenly between his arm and legs. He's 6-foot-3 and 195 pounds and clearly has no issue scrambling not only away from trouble, but into first downs. It's not unrealistic to think we've only just started to see what he's capable of with his added experience.
