In the months since our last rankings update, we've had even more time to evaluate players in the Class of 2026.

We've looked at their production value from the 2024 season, compared them to others we already knew about, attended offseason events and dug deeper on the little details that make a whole bunch of players exactly what they are.

It's led to 70 names joining our 2026 rankings this spring.

We're going to continue our introductions to all of them by highlighting 14 new additions from the Grand Strand and Pee Dee.

[player_tooltip player_id='1639819' first='Michael' last='Cavallini'] LB, North Myrtle Beach

Despite missing a chunk of last season to a broken leg, Cavallini rebounded to get back into football shape. He was a productive player when he was on the field, and about to jump into the Chiefs' top linebacker spot.

[player_tooltip player_id='1639725' first='Khalil' last='Green'] DB, Darlington

The lanky defensive back put up 33 tackles in 10 games for the Falcons last fall, and he played a huge part in the Falcons' first playoff win in 18 years when he recovered a pair of fumbles in a 22-15 first-round victory over Midland Valley.

[player_tooltip player_id='1656668' first='Khalid' last='Sherman'] ATH, Loris

After entering last season as a receiver, Sherman gained valuable early reps as a reserve tailback and put up 569 yards and seven touchdowns. He's got breakaway speed, and once he hits the open field, he's a score waiting to happen.

[player_tooltip player_id='861530' first='Ryan' last='Small'] ATH, Pee Dee Academy

How's this for a junior year stat line? Small finished the 2024 season with 378 rushing yards and three touchdowns, four receptions for 95 yards and a score, 76 total tackles, two interceptions (one returned for a score) and five pass break-ups.

[player_tooltip player_id='1639822' first='MyQuan' last='McWhite'] RB, Wilson

McWhite more than makes up for his 5-foot-6 height by possessing a good build at 165 pounds and 21 mile-per-hour speed. He's now got a new head coach coming from a program at Sumter that clearly liked to run the ball with authority, something that further helps McWhite's future.

[player_tooltip player_id='1639796' first='Da'viyon' last='McNair'] OL/DL, Andrews

The Yellow Jackets' two-way interior lineman can handle both asks, as he's a stout 330 pounds and capable of handling just about anything thrown his direction. Andrews' offense, particularly, benefits from his run blocking in close quarters.

[player_tooltip player_id='1639740' first='Dorian' last='Mason'] WR/TE, Hartsville

All signs points to Hartsville opening the pass game back up a hair this fall, and Mason is an experienced receiver who caught 24 passes for 332 yards last fall in an offense that was mostly blowing out opponents and not needing to throw the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1625930' first='Oreion' last='Small'] DB, Darlington

Small proved to be not only one of the Falcons' most consistent defenders while finishing with a second-best 65 total tackles. He also picked off two passes, recovered a pair of fumbles, had four pass break-ups and recorded seven tackles for loss.

[player_tooltip player_id='1639778' first='Xy'Mari' last='Bethea'] ATH, Latta

Bethea is up over 100 total tackles from his sophomore and junior seasons combined, and by the looks of it, he's going to get even more opportunities as a senior on offense, too. He's got game changing ability on both sides of the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1429140' first='Christian' last='Royals'] QB, Socastee

While the Braves saw its two big weapons were lost for a bulk of the season, it was Royals who kept the train on the tracks. He can throw and run equally for positive yardage. Socastee is a threat to return to the playoffs with him behind center.

[player_tooltip player_id='1639657' first='Walker' last='Wilcox'] LB, Trinity Collegiate

In 11 games for the Titans last fall, the middle linebacker put up 117 total tackles, 22 tackles for loss, two sacks and two forced fumbles. He'll be the team's top returning defender and has shown he can be much more than simply an every-down player for Trinity.

[player_tooltip player_id='1639761' first='Jamarious' last='Wilson'] OL/DL, Loris

The Loris offense took a major step forward right as Wilson was settling into his role at center. Conversely, he helped an already efficiency Lions' defense better by taking some of the heat off [player_tooltip player_id='1395062' first='Demarea' last='Thurmond'] and the rest of the front seven.

[player_tooltip player_id='1639746' first='Chris' last='Price'] DL, Hartsville

The Red Foxes have had a nice run of defensive ends of late, and Price is next on the list. He's strong enough to use the bull rush and experienced enough to know when to hit his burst. It put him in position to immediately pad the blow from the loss of [player_tooltip player_id='922400' first='Jackson' last='Chavis'] and others.

[player_tooltip player_id='1639826' first='JayAun' last='Perkins'] WR, South Florence

After starting his career at West Florence, Perkins has made the quick jaunt across town and will be another weapon for the three-time defending Class 4A Lower State champs. He can make an instant impact for the Bruins without having to be the guy.
