2026 Rankings Update 5.0: Quarterbacks

As we head deeper into the month of April, the 2025 high school football off-season is in full swing! With that being said, we have begun another round of rankings updates for the state of Kentucky, starting with the class of 2026. Now that these rankings have been updated, I will be breaking them down by position. To kick things off, here are our top quarterbacks in the class of 2026 in the state of Kentucky.    [player_tooltip player_id='283958' first='Cam' last='O'Hara'] has continued to prove that he is one of the top players in the state in his class over the past few years. He is coming off an outstanding junior year in which he completed 212/325 passes for 3,617 yards, 52 touchdowns, and only three interceptions in 15 games. Cam has a very strong arm which he uses to lead his receivers down the field in the deep passing game. He has also shown impressive pocket mobility, showing the ability to maneuver in the pocket to avoid pressure while keeping his eyes down the field to find the open receiver. O'Hara also finished his junior year with 59 carries for 186 yards and four touchdowns. Cam is committed to Western Kentucky where I can see him having a very successful career at the next level.     [player_tooltip player_id='401922' first='Mario' last='Litmer'] impressed in his first year as the full-time starter at Highlands, completing 193/281 passes for 2,791 yards, 33 touchdowns, and eight interceptions in 14 games. Litmer has a great feel for pressure, showing the ability to escape pass rushers with ease while keeping his eyes down the field to make tough throws on the run. He has also shown impressive accuracy, showing the ability to hit receivers out of the breaks so that they can make catches in stride. Mario also showed the ability to make plays with his legs this past season, running the ball 68 times for 236 yards and five touchdowns. Litmer hasn't received any offers yet but he has picked up some college interest and has the talent to play at the next level.     [player_tooltip player_id='283961' first='Colin' last='Daniels'] is a quarterback who has been high on our radar for a while now and continued to impress as a junior, completing 184/274 passes for 2,305 yards, 30 touchdowns, and five interceptions in 12 games. Daniels throws an impressive deep ball, showing the arm strength to lead his receivers down the field and hit them in stride. He also puts a nice amount of touch on his passes, putting the ball in a spot where only his intended receiver can catch it. Colin also ran the ball 50 times for 165 yards and three touchdowns as a junior. Daniels has received some college interest and I expect his recruitment to continue to heat up heading into his senior year.     [player_tooltip player_id='401720' first='Maddox' last='O'Neal'] is another quarterback who has been on our radar for a while now and continued to stand out as a junior as he completed 187/312 passes for 2,896 yards, 41 touchdowns, and 16 interceptions in 12 games. O'Neal has a cannon for an arm which he uses to stretch the field with ease in the deep passing game. He has also shown impressive accuracy, putting the ball in a spot where his receiver can make the catch in stride. Maddox also ran the ball 55 times for 201 yards this past season. O'Neal doesn't currently hold any offers but he is a player who college coaches should have a close eye on heading into his final season.     To wrap up our top five quarterbacks in the class of 2026 in the state of Kentucky, I have [player_tooltip player_id='1311244' first='Mason' last='Trimble']. Trimble had a very impressive junior season, completing 160/241 passes for 2,300 yards, 21 touchdowns, and five interceptions in 12 games. Mason is an accurate passer, showing the ability to fit passes into tight windows where only his intended receiver can catch it. He has also shown the ability to make throws under pressure along with the ability to use his arm strength to stretch the field in the deep passing game. Trimble has also shown the ability to tuck the ball and make plays as a ball carrier when needed, finishing this past season with 100 carries for 315 yards and four touchdowns. Mason doesn't currently hold any offers but I can see some coming his way soon as he has received some college interest.
