2025 Final Rankings: SoCal New Additions

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">A breakdown of the southern California seniors added to the final 2025 PRZ rankings update.</h2>    Few is a force on both sides of the ball at DE/TE. 6'5” 240 lbs. he's got a strong well-built frame with length. Plays with an edge and a high motor to physically dominate his opponents while showing plus athleticism and natural movement skills. Flashes good bend at his size with the agility and short area quickness to redirect also showing some long speed to chase ball carriers down field or extend gains after the catch. Powerful at the POA, he accelerates through contact with controlled aggression to finish the play. Committed to UC Davis over an offer from Portland State and has good upside to keep developing and make an impact at the D1 level.      Martin's size and skillset checks a lot of boxes for a D1 corner. At 6'1” 165 lbs. he's got a long and lean frame to extend and make plays at the catch point, does a good job playing through the hands. Shows good speed and is a long strider to stay in phase covering vertically. That speed gives him great range to cover ground and close separation with the ball in the air. Very fluid with his movement, he's able to transition out of his back pedal and accelerate out to turn and run. A reliable open field tackler that attacks ball carriers and can wrap up to the ground. Committed to Northern Arizona, he was also offered by Cal Poly.     Mooney is a pure football player that made an impact on both sides of the line for San Marino. Plays bigger that his 6'3” 230 lb. frame and has room to add mass once he lands at Brown. He's an outstanding defensive playmaker that racked up 85 tackles, 21 TFL, nine sacks, and 26 hurries. Explosive off the ball with a quick first step he's able to gain quick penetration to collapse the pocket or stuff the run before the play develops. Extremely violent at the POA, he explodes through contact with good power and leverage on both sides of the ball. Good positional flexibility to play either DE or LB, it will be interesting to see how he develops and is used at the college level. In addition to Brown, he collected offers from Grinnell and San Diego.      Massive frame at 6'6” 305 lbs. for the OT out of West Park. In addition to his size that allows him to overpower opponents, he also shows good mobility and quick feet. He's balanced at the contact point, playing with a wide base and good pad level to be under control throughout his block. Quick out of his stance, he's able to beat opponents to the spot and gain positional leverage. Uses his hands well to latch on and sustain through the whistle. Shows he can execute different blocks effectively as a puller and when working to the second level. Underrecruited given his size and ability but committed to his only offer from Sacramento State.      Ideal size and length for a D1 OT with a well-balanced 6'6” 280 lb. frame. Creates movement at the LOS and opens up running lanes by attacking his blocks and bringing heavy initial contact. Violent finisher that overwhelms opponents with his size and power. Maintains good leg drive after contact and throughout the play. Natural strength gives him the ability to anchor down and absorb an oncoming rush without giving up ground. Quick into his pass set, he's active with his feet and hands while matching movement to stay in front and keep a clean pocket. Another strong OL prospect that flew under the recruiting radar committing to his only offer from Northern Arizona.      Browne is a quality all-around receiver with a skillset that combines his speed and ball skills. A natural catcher of the football that shows high level ball judgement skills and adjustment ability. He competes for the ball in the air and flashes good body control and coordination to make the difficult catch. Mixes up his speeds well to get defenders out of balance and off line. He's able to slip by coverage and push vertically with plus route running and acceleration out of his breaks. Tough runner after the catch and as a returner, he can fight through contact to break tackles and then use his short area burst to run away from defenders. Plays hard with a high motor. Made an early commitment to Brown over the summer going into his senior year also earning offers from Grinnell, Denison, Chicago, and Carleton.
