We're another week into March and more undiscovered talent is popping up all across the Sunflower State. The first Watch List of March helped shine light on five unranked prospects, and Part II will be featuring five more.

This second report will be a bit different from the first. Instead of primarily highlighting underclassmen, three seniors will be headlining this group. There is still however a sophomore and a freshman that folks will find intriguing. Remember these names in future ranking updates.

Class of ‘26

[player_tooltip player_id='1641832' first='Jaxson' last='Chartier'] - Hays, 5'10”, 210, LB, Unranked

Hays had one of the top defensive units in Class 5A last season. While they will graduate some talented defenders, they do return Chartier. The stocky linebacker excelled in stopping the run and was a big reason why Hays held opponents to around 16 points per game in 2024. His physicality and strength jump out on film, which is no surprise considering his effort in the weight room. His recent numbers included a 315-pound bench press, a 475-pound squat, and a 285-pound hang clean. Look for Chartier to be a leader for the Indians' defense during the ‘25 campaign.

[player_tooltip player_id='1641834' first='Braeden' last='Condley'] - St. Thomas Aquinas, 5'9”, 175, RB, Unranked

Year after year Aquinas does a great job of developing their running backs. Which is exactly why they consistently feature one of the most lethal rushing attacks in the state. Even though [player_tooltip player_id='267076' first='Calin' last='Arndt'] is undoubtedly Auquinas' lead back this fall, Condley is another talented ball carrier Aquinas can count on. During his junior season he showcased textbook blocking, and as a runner he did nothing but gain positive yardage. His frame and play style are a perfect fit for Aquinas' offensive scheme, which is why he could see an expanded role during his senior year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1641836' first='Alamar' last='Brooks'] - Piper, 6'0”, 180, WR, Unranked

This final junior of Part II has the potential to make some serious noise during the ‘25 campaign. Brooks is an excellent athlete, and although he didn't see the ball much in 2024, he did manage to make some impressive plays the times he was targeted. He's the definition of a playmaker and his 20 yards per catch is evidence of that. The gridiron isn't the only place he puts on a show either. Brooks is fresh off a great junior season on the hardwood, as he helped lead Piper on a deep postseason run. He'll definitely be a player to keep an eye on the next few months.

Class of ‘27

[player_tooltip player_id='1641841' first='Larry' last='Jones'] - Mill Valley, 6'2”, 215, Edge, Unranked

Similar to Aquinas' ability to develop talented running backs, Mill Valley has a knack for churning out quality pass rushers. During the ‘25 campaign, Jones will look to become the next standout edge rusher for the Jaguars. Jones saw a fair amount of varsity action during his sophomore season, and managed to put together some nice film. He's really turned heads this offseason though, as he received high praise after a standout combine performance earlier this month. The sophomore should gain more attention in the coming months with multiple camp and combine events on his schedule.

Class of ‘28

[player_tooltip player_id='1641844' first='Tayden' last='Neloms'] - Wichita East, 5'9”, 155, WR, Unranked

Wrapping up this second watch list is the lone freshman of the group. Neloms is a young prospect that's taken advantage of the 7-On-7 circuit to help turn some heads. He's looked sharp competing with Wichita Wheat, as he's displayed a strong pair of hands, and has been able to get separation from the opposition. He definitely has the potential to compete for a starting job as a sophomore.
