We love to see the guys who help lock down things on defense. There was a lot of good talent here this weekend. These defensive backs were looking really good.

[player_tooltip player_id='953600' first='Kyle' last='Sledge Jr.']

Sledge is a defensive back who is always impressive. You are not going to see him out of position a lot. Sledge knows how to do things the right way. He knows when to get his head around to football without getting caught in a bad spot. Sledge is a 6-foot, 190-pound kid from Bowling Green (KY). We have seen him at a Prep Redzone Tennessee combine. He is a division one prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='1142030' first='Noah' last='Ellis']

Ellis looks really good on the field. He looks like a young man who is always in the gym. Ellis was playing a defensive back position this weekend, but we are thinking he will also get looked at for linebacker due to his size. He is from Donaldson Christian in Tennessee. Ellis does a good job of moving around. I can see him playing a box safety position. He is in the 2027 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1588776' first='Hudson' last='Smith']

Smith is a good athlete who has some great ball skills. He was a player eho was playing on both sides of the football, but his skills on defense is what caught our attention. Smith is another player who we could see playing a safety position. He knows how to sit on the football. You are not going to see him get beat on the outside a lot. He knows how to hold down his zone.

[player_tooltip player_id='1596532' first='Elijah' last='Burns-Crump']

This young man is long and quick. He also looks good in his back pedal. We were able to see him make a lot of clutch plays for his team. He plays for Trinity (KY). There is not playing around when the ball is in the air. He knows how to go up and get it. He also has some very long arms. Burns-Crump is in the 2028 class. He stands around 6-foot-3. He is going to be a free safety.

[player_tooltip player_id='1646054' first='Quincy' last='Finley']

Finley is a very solid player from Page (KY) who caught our attention today. He was impressive on the outside. This kid knows how to hold down his area. We saw him playing a lot of cornerback this weekend. Finley could be a safety on the next level. He has those long arms that help him in man coverage at the corner position. He has a nice build as well. Finley is standing around 6-foot.
