Spring Spotlight: Class of 2028 SSAA Quarterbacks

Florida has long been a hotbed of high school football talent. Annually, Florida produces some of the nation's top prospects. Florida athletes are known for their speed, agility, and raw athleticism. These prospects have made names for themselves and have caught the attention of coaches and scouts at the collegiate level. With the 2025 season getting closer, we're looking for players whose stock is rising in the state.   These players are all talented and have college-level abilities. Some of these players have a few offers, but all of them have the ability to play college football at some level.   There are some big-time, highly rated prospects and several sleeper prospects who should all be getting looks for the next level. This list is full of stud prospects. His ability to distribute the ball all over the field and make plays in the passing game makes him a standout at the position. While he's not a primary rushing threat, his 318 yards on the ground add another dimension to his game. With continued development, Stecher has the potential to be one of the most productive quarterbacks in his class.   Elijah Nickerson, Quarterback – Faith Christian   Height/Weight: 6'3", 165 lbs   Stats Summary: 131-209, 2,102 yards, 22 touchdowns | 43 carries, 219 yards, 3 touchdowns   Evaluation: Nickerson is a strong-armed quarterback with impressive size at 6'3". He consistently puts up big numbers, showing his ability to stretch the field and make plays in the pocket. His mobility is an underrated part of his game, as he can extend plays and pick up yards on the ground when needed. As he continues to refine his mechanics and decision-making, Nickerson has the tools to develop into a high-level prospect.   Dominic Just, Quarterback – Cornerstone Charter Academy   Height/Weight: 5'10", 160 lbs   Stats Summary: 120-213, 1,767 yards, 13 touchdowns   Evaluation: Just is a productive quarterback who has shown the ability to make plays in the passing game. He displays solid accuracy and pocket presence, allowing him to distribute the ball effectively. While he has room to improve his overall efficiency, his ability to move the offense and keep defenses honest makes him a key playmaker.
