The 2025 Prep Redzone 7v7 Circuit made the annual stop in the Nashville area for the third annual Music City Mayhem tournament. This year's event got pushed back one week because of weather but on Saturday, we had picture perfect weather at Smyrna High School. Prep Redzone will have wall to wall coverage of this weekend's tournament and I got a chance to see some outstanding 18U football on Saturday. These five players really stood out to me throughout the afternoon. And coincidentally, we have five players from five different states!

Aiden Fitzgerald - 2027 Quarterback - Demon Elite (South Carolina)

I got a chance to see Demon Elite play their last two games on Saturday and after dropping the first two, they would win the final one and go into Sunday with a bit of momentum. 2027 quarterback Aiden Fitzgerald was a big reason why they won that final game on Saturday with his efficiency from the pocket and his ability to throw his wide receivers open. After watching Fitzgerald in their second game of the day and then seeing them again in the final one, he made a big jump from one game to the next. We're looking forward to seeing more from him on Sunday and see if he can keep that momentum going from Saturday's last game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1640860' first='Cameron' last='Miller'] - 2026 Wide Receiver - HSLD Elite (Ohio)

Coming down to Tennessee from Ohio was HSLD Elite and they had several players that immediately pass the eye test when you watch them step on the field. I watched almost every game that they played on Saturday from start to finish and 2026 wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1640860' first='Cameron' last='Miller'] might have been their most consistent player from start to finish. First off, he knows how to get open and that was huge throughout the day on Saturday. He ran good routes but he also had a good connection with his quarterback and had the ability to stop his route in a zone when he got free. And I didn't see too many balls hit the turf when they were thrown Miller's way.

[player_tooltip player_id='378839' first='Garyon' last='Hobbs'] - 2027 Defensive Back - Playmakers Elite (Kentucky)

2027 standout [player_tooltip player_id='378839' first='Garyon' last='Hobbs'] from Playmakers Elite in Kentucky might have been the best player that I saw from the 18U division on Saturday afternoon. Hobbs immediately passes the eye test when he's roaming around at the safety position. He's put together and can absolutely fly when he gets into the open field. He made some big plays on the defensive side of the ball, including a big interception on a pass into the end zone. Hobbs also played quite a bit of offense and I liked what I saw from him on that side of the ball but if I had to pick one or the other, I'll go with defense for now and I'm fired up to see what he does for an encore on Sunday.

Santana Allen - 2026 Quarterback - Team Blueprint (Indiana)

We saw some really good quarterback play throughout the day on Saturday but I always like a quarterback that becomes that silent assassin on the field. 2026 signal caller Santana Allen from Team Blueprint in Indiana was that guy for me on Saturday. Allen never got too high or two low and was calm, cool and collected throughout the afternoon in Tennessee. Allen was also making some big time throws and when you combine that with his overall demeanor on the field, you have a quarterback that is ready to impact the game at a higher level. Allen made consistent throws against every level of the defense. Short, intermediate or a deep ball, Allen was on fire.

Sawyer Phillips - 2027 Quarterback - Mid TN Wolfpack Blue (Tennessee)

We finish up with the most clutch performance that I saw on Saturday afternoon. Mid TN Wolfpack Blue was down with about two minutes to play in their final pool play game. 2027 quarterback Sawyer Phillips would lead the team on a game-winning touchdown drive to not only win the game but cap off a perfect 3-0 record and give them a very high seed going into Sunday's bracket play. Phillips was incredibly accurate on that final drive and didn't make a mistake. I can't say that I saw much more of Phillips on Saturday but on arguably the day's most important drive for his team, he stepped up and delivered in a big way and that was impressive.
