One of the top overall risers in the latest update, Norfolk Catholic's [player_tooltip player_id='1617346' first='Leighton' last='Burbach'] crash landed on our radars after a tremendous junior season that resulted in the attention of several D1 programs and a 3-star distinction. Leighton is a towering 6'8" and 255-pound offensive tackle with room to continue maxing out his frame. Leighton's length and athleticism at the OT position are the first things that stand out when watching his tape, then you notice his ability to drive players off the ball and physicality, and it's clear why he's such a highly-touted recruit. Burbach holds offers from Northwestern, Montana, Iowa State, South Dakota, Washington State, Central Florida, North Dakota State, Texas Tech, and Vanderbilt.

Another big time riser! Millard South's [player_tooltip player_id='1395767' first='Solomon' last='Baker'] played a key role on a Patriot's front that smothered opposing offenses all season long with a relentless pass-rush. The 6'4" and 250-pound edge rusher recorded 40 tackles, 15.5 TFLs, 10 sacks, and a forced fumble en route to a Class A state championship. The main word to describe Solomon is ferocious, playing with an incredible mean streak and violent hands that allow him to blow up blockers at the line of scrimmage and then continue his tireless pursuit. Since the end of the season, Solomon has earned offers from Nebraska-Kearney, Wayne State, Northern Illinois, Eastern Michigan, and Illinois State.

Lincoln North Star's [player_tooltip player_id='1114432' first='Tyrell' last='Chatman'] emerged as one of the most versatile players in his class after contributing in several ways for the Gators. Chatman ended the year with 486 passing yards, 387 rushing yards, five passing touchdowns, six rushing touchdowns, 37 tackles, four interceptions, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. Chatman projects best on defense where his high-caliber football IQ and athleticism can help him play anywhere along the secondary. Tyrell is currently committed to Northern Illinois, but Iowa State received extended an offer and will likely make a push to flip the North Star prospect.

Massive breakout campaign for the Warriors' safety! Junior [player_tooltip player_id='402141' first='Bryson' last='Williams'], who had transferred from Millard West, wasted no time getting acclimated to the Westside defense as he trotted out as a day one starter. Williams ended his junior year with 66 tackles, five fumble recoveries (two returned for TDs), three interceptions (one returned for TD), and two forced fumbles. Bryson is a tall and lengthy safety who plays with incredible range and spans the majority of the field. He's also willing to get physical with receivers in coverage and will step into the box to help out in run support. Bryson has been a huge winner this offseason with offers from Sacramento State, Fresno State, Washington State, Lindenwood, Colorado State, North Dakota, South Dakota State, and North Dakota State.

Gretna's [player_tooltip player_id='402158' first='Michael' last='Knudsen'] took over the QB1 duties this season and never looked back as he lit Class B defenses up left and right. Michael ended the season third in passing yards for the whole state with 3,074 yards, 29 passing touchdowns, 92 rushing yards, five rushing touchdowns, and a 112.4 QBR. Michael stands out as a QB who can confidently stand in the pocket as he reads the defense and moves through his progressions. He can deliver the ball to all levels of the field and showed the arm strength to thread the ball into tight windows.

Fast, physical linebacker with next level size! Junior [player_tooltip player_id='1614951' first='Spencer' last='Stutheit'] jumped onto my radar at the end of the season, and since then, I have seen more upside every time I watch his junior tape. At 6'3" and 225 pounds, Stutheit has a demanding presence in the middle of the defense with the explosiveness and range to cover from sideline-to-sideline as well as flip his hips to fall back into coverage and sharply break downhill to defend the run. Strong and aggressive at the point of attack, makes him a secure tackler when he gets to the ball. Spencer is now at Omaha Westside so I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do on a dominant Warrior's defense.

One of the biggest eye-openers of last season was the emergence of pass-rushing terror, [player_tooltip player_id='487753' first='Elijah' last='Gutz']. Gutz was unstoppable last season as he totaled 50 tackles, 25 TFLs, and 11 sacks, flashing a quick get-off and top-tier twitch to create separation at the line of scrimmage. Elijah plays defensive end for the Spartans, but I can see him as an EDGE/OLB where he can use his tireless pursuit to wreak havoc in backfields while still having the athleticism to slide into coverage.

Elkhorn South is another school that has done an excellent job developing offensive and defensive linemen, including junior [player_tooltip player_id='795612' first='Alex' last='Greufe']. With Alex starting at RT, the Storm battered opposing defenses with one of the toughest running attacks in Class A. He possesses solid size at 6'4" and 260 pounds with some room to comfortably keep adding to his frame. Greufe is physical at the point of attack and plays with great leverage over his opponent. He is quick on his feet and has a powerful base that he can tap into to drive players off the ball or anchor down to stonewall pass rushers.

We continue our run of linemen with a big-time two-way lineman from the panhandle. Scottsbluff [player_tooltip player_id='1573615' first='Adain' last='Haffner'] emerged as one of the top guards in the state after helping pave the way for two 1,000+ rushers and earning all-state honors. Adain is a beast of a guard at 6'3" and 300 pounds, with surprising quickness and explosiveness. As a guard, he does a great job executing pulling blocks, showing nice short-area burst and violent punch through his opponent's chest.

Kearney's [player_tooltip player_id='1113977' first='Zach' last='Wulf'] emerged as a major disruptor on the line of scrimmage... both sides at that! Zach is a two-way lineman for the Bearcats but really flashes on the defensive side where he can unleash the mean streak he brings to the field. Zach is very quick out of his stance and showed he can win reps with power or speed moves. He can attack with violent hands to break away from blockers or use his twitch/bend to bypass blockers all together. Great pursuit of the ball and a non-stop motor!

Gretna's [player_tooltip player_id='1429588' first='Bryce' last='Lakers'] is the other half of one of the most dynamic quarterback-WR connections from last season. Bryce ended his junior campaign with 61 receptions for 1,284 receiving yards (second in the state) and 14 receiving touchdowns. Bryce showed he's a threat at all levels of the field, with speed that can stretch defenses vertically and crafty route running that allows him to create separation on underneath routes. Bryce's burst and explosiveness after the catch showed he can hit the home run ball from anywhere. Strong, reliable hands.

Although we don't have a huge sample for Christian's junior year, it's clear he has the skills and measurables to draw attention from programs this summer. Christian is a 6'2", 180-pound cornerback with a reported 4.5 40-yard time, which flashes on tape. He plays with loose hips and can change directions on a drop, allowing him to stay in a receiver's hip pocket. Boles showed he can be physically both when defending the pass with active hands at the catch point and against the run. Upside as a return man!

Here's another prospect to watch out of Scottsbluff. [player_tooltip player_id='1209690' first='Keon' last='Delgado'] is a taller, bigger cornerback at 6'4" and 200 pounds, who can match up well against any receiver on the perimeter, using long reach and physicality to defend the ball at the catch point. His ability to move fluidly and change direction as a bigger corner is impressive. Keon also defends the run very well, showing his willingness to fight off perimeter blocks and then step up to make a stop.

I mostly see Norris' [player_tooltip player_id='1573609' first='Nolan' last='Reinboth'] playing OL at the next level, but re-watching his junior tape, I can see him getting serious looks at DL. Nolan is a lengthy, 6'5" offensive tackle with room to continue adding size to his frame. He plays with an aggressive mindset and loves to explode through his hands on initial contact. Reinboth looks very nimble on his feet, with quick short-area burst and the ability to pull and reach defenders at the second level. Reinboth got a nice boost in his recruitment with an offer from Wayne State.

Very successful season in his first season with the Storm. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='487760' first='Griffin' last='McDonald'] had a seamless transition to Elkhorn South, quickly earning a starting role in a deep LB group. McDonald ended last season with 73 tackles, 13 TFLs, two interceptions (one pick-six), and a forced fumble while sitting nearly three games (11 quarters) due to Elkhorn South having huge leads. The first thing that stands out about Griffin is how quick he reads and reacts to what he sees from the offense. McDonald flows to the ball very well as he flashes great gap play, nice lateral quickness, and burst downhill when he keys on the run.

Archbishop-Bergan's [player_tooltip player_id='1114998' first='Gavin' last='Baker'] is a player I believe will rise once more colleges get him in for summer camps. Gavin quietly went under the radar despite posting an impressive 27 receptions for 528 yards and six receiving touchdowns. Gavin's 6'6" frame makes him an instant mismatch no matter where you line him up, showing that he can win jump ball situations more often than not. Baker's ability to build speed off the line makes him a threat to slip past defenses for the deep ball.

Bellevue West's [player_tooltip player_id='488227' first='Adrian' last='Wilson'] has recently seen a bit of a recruiting boost by picking up his first offer from Augustana. Adrian had solid production as a junior with 55 tackles, two fumble recoveries, a fumble return for a touchdown, and an interception. The biggest thing that stands out about Adrian is his lengthy 6'3" frame which has become the norm at the safety position. He doesn't hesitate to step up into the box to defend the run and is a sure tackler when confronted with ball carriers in 1v1 situations. Great instincts and football IQ.

Few players proved to be as destructive last season as Omaha Westview's [player_tooltip player_id='923428' first='Aaron' last='Kolala'] who seemed to live in the opposing backfield. Kolala had a monster breakout season with 102 tackles, 26 TFLs, 8.5 sacks, three interceptions, and a defensive touchdown. Aaron is at his best when he can pin his ears back and get after the QB, using his quick first step, great bend, and twitch to penetrate the backfield for big TFL. He also showed that he's just as comfortable as an off-ball 'backer with nice fluidity and ball skills to come up with big plays in coverage. Very under the radar prospect who should gain more looks this offseason!

Stepping in perfectly into one of the starting safety spots for the Warriors, junior [player_tooltip player_id='795605' first='Reid' last='McIntyre'] had a great season in which we saw him fly all over the field. McIntyre ended his junior campaign with 102 tackles, 12 PBUs, two fumble recoveries, and a forced fumble. The two things that stand out immediately about Reid are his range and physicality. He does a great job covering a big portion of the field with a sharp break on the ball and excellent closing speed.

[player_tooltip player_id='1551554' first='Jacob' last='Quist'] had a solid first season as the starting LG on a retooled Millard West OL. He really impressed with his run-blocking, where he showed he can impose his will by mauling over defenders as he clears running lanes for his RBs. He moves very well, with the ability to step up into the second level to take on LBs, and will keep working his way downfield looking for blocks to pick up. Quist picked up an in-state offer from Wayne State last month.

Perhaps the most dominant player on one of the most dominant teams I've watched in my time with PRZ. Wahoo's [player_tooltip player_id='1217729' first='Kip' last='Brigham'] was the driving force behind one of the most punishing rushing attacks in the state. Brigham ended his junior season with 2,033 rushing yards, 476 receiving yards, 36 rushing touchdowns, seven receiving touchdowns, three return touchdowns, and the Class C1 state championship. Kip is a strong, angry runner who can bulldoze his way through defenders while also having the speed to break away once he hits the open field.

Don't look now, but the Standing Bear Grizzlies have a very underrated roster with several players that look like future prospects. Lemke is a player with next-level size at 6'3" and 285 pounds, solid length to his frame, and quick feet.
Junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='533092' first='Zion' last='Rush'] looked right at home in his first season with the Millard North Mustangs. This wasn't Zion's first season with the Mustangs but his first season as QB1, and he performed very well, completing 66% of his passes for 1,718 yards and 17 passing touchdowns. Like I said, Zion looked very comfortable in this offense, showing he can calmly sit in the pocket and make accurate reads. He also flashed the arm talent to deliver the ball anywhere on the field and is fairly consistent with his accuracy and ball placement. Concordia-St. Paul is the first team to offer the Mustang's gunslinger with many likely to follow this offseason.

GI Northwest's [player_tooltip player_id='795461' first='Dawson' last='Johnson'] is a player we tagged as someone to watch before the season started and he delivered on those expectations. The crafty DE/EDGE rusher had an excellent season in which he recorded over 70 tackles, eight TFLs, and 5.5 sacks. One reason we were so high on Dawson was because of his diligent work to improve and expand his game going into his junior season. This hard work paid off as Dawson flashed a well-grounded game that allows him to use speed or power to win his reps.

The 6'0" 195-pounder broke through for 12 TFLs and seven sacks, showing his nose for making splash plays in the backfield. Wynne flashes a quick get-off and effective use of hands to disengage from blockers, with the speed to finish the play for a loss. Listed as a DL, but could fill more of an EDGE/OLB role at the next level.

On the gridiron, Tonjes easily stepped in the QB1 role, throwing for 2,125 yards, 27 touchdowns, 65% completion rate, 216 rushing yards, and three rushing touchdowns. Tonjes possesses the measurables that coaches look for, standing at 6'5" and 205 pounds with room to keep maxing out his frame.
