ROCK HILL | The camps and combines season is well underway as the weather begins to heat up here in late March. We were on hand for the majority of the Prep Redzone Football City Clash on Saturday and got to see everyone from 12U to 18U compete in a 7-on-7 competition and we came impressed with what we saw.

18U

[player_tooltip player_id='1610601' first='Cole' last='Cater'] | QB | G7 Charlotte Black

Cater is going into his sophomore year of high school at Providence Day in Charlotte (NC) and has been a part of state championship teams for the Chargers over the last couple of years. And he could be the next one in line. He made some nice throws, including one to Brendan Raven on a line where only he could catch it to set up a score. He is patient with the throws and goes through his reads.

Colby Cornelius | QB | CJ Black

We came away impressed with the spiral on the throws from Cornelius. He can put it where only his guy can catch it and he's going to take what the defense gives him.

[player_tooltip player_id='429920' first='Sam' last='Holliday'] | QB | Blitz

Holliday was accurate and on point with his throws when we got to see him during the afternoon session. He did a great job of leading his receiver for a touchdown on a wheel route and a corner route.

Bill Parks | DB | Blitz 18U

Parks (pictured above) made a game sealing interception during the afternoon session. He was active as he got his hands on a lot of balls from opposing offenses.

Kaiden Davis | DB | Christian Boyce

Davis was fun to watch on defense. He showed great route recognition to close on the ball, forcing an incompletion. He has good ball skills and can move around well. He also showed off his ability to go up and make the catch at its highest point during the afternoon session.

12U

Cam Richardson | DB | Football City Elite

Richardson impressed us with his lateral movements in space in defending his receivers in one-on-one situations. He almost had a pick a few plays into the day, and nearly had another pick towards the end of the game.

Elan Bradley | DB | Football City USA Elite

Bradley is still a young guy, but he can make plays with the ball in his hands. He made a nice catch on the slant for the touchdown and can look the ball in. He also had a critical interception in their second game of the day to end a scoring threat.

Nemiah Richardson | WR | CJ Black

Richardson did a great job of making a spectacular catch, high pointing the ball to where only his guy could make the play to end one contest.
