ST. PAUL-- Getting a late start on our live evals from the 612Qs Offensive Skill Camps, but will be pounding the table with evals over the coming days as there was plenty to see. I will start with my Part I of wide receivers that impressed me during the live eval.

Ben O'Neil, WR, Mankato West 2026 Twitter

Ben was one of the first wide receivers to jump out at me on Sunday in St. Paul at the 612Qs Offensive Skills Camp. He showed off some sound agile movement while making his cuts on his routes and showed off a route-runner that showed off the finesse on his release and into the second level on intermediate routes. Ben ran a 4.75 in the pro agility at 5'10 174 pounds and is yet another target to know in the 2026 class out of Mankato West.

When it came down to excellent movement with his route-running, one of the wide receivers that was in my top-tier for the wide receiver group was [player_tooltip player_id='1248709' first='Dane' last='Birr'] out of Hudson. This young man has been a standout at now multiple camps this winter/spring and that was surely the case in my eyes in St. Paul. Dane's twitch while making his cuts on his routes were extremely fluid from the reps I got to watch. I also have to mention the athleticism and great hands that Dane showed off on his routes, as if I were doing a All-WR Team, I would surely put him on my first team from Sunday.

[player_tooltip player_id='1248616' first='Beau' last='Nicklay'], WR, Byron 2027 Twitter

One of the most impressive live evals from a WR that continues to grow this winter into Spring came from Byron 2027 wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1248616' first='Beau' last='Nicklay']. If watching the fluidity with the change of direction wasn't enough along with the instinctive athleticsm (36'1 in the vertical too) this young man showed off on his routes I watched, the 4.07 pro agility shound paint an easy picture on how twitchy this young man has been on his routes. Beau was in my "Byron Batch" of standouts from our Prep Redzone Minnesota Showcase this winter, and should be a 2027 name to know early ahead of camp season this summer. Beau is also a young man that I love his character he could bring to the next-level in a college football locker room.

[player_tooltip player_id='1425960' first='Jaidyn' last='Garibaldi'], WR, Benilde St. Margaret's 2026 Twitter

I wasn't able to watch as many reps out of Jaidyn as I would have liked, but the upside showed off some promise on the live eval reps I was able to watch. You could tell Jaidyn is a two-way prospect that has a sound football IQ and showed off hands that should show off on tape especially in high-traffic areas. The 5'10 160 pounder was a wide receiver that played with a presence that went above his measurables from my eyes in the live eval at the 612Qs Offensive Skills Camp in St. Paul

Patrick Mix, WR, Minneapolis Camden 2026 Twitter

Our scouts have been very impressed with the live evals we have gotten out of Minneapolis Camden prospects over the last week or so and my favorite one on Sunday that I got from the Patriots was from 2026 wide receiver Patrick Mix. Patrick was one of the most springy route-runners I got to watch on Sunday at CSP, as one that showed off the finish with his route-running on all three levels, never showing an ounce of slow down on his routes and also was extremely balanced with his athletic movement rep after rep. He caught the attention of I am pretty sure all four scouts we had in attendance as I loved his attention to detail he showed off on every route. Patrick surely is a WR prospect that the game-speed outweighs the testing numbers even though he showed off the twitch I liked in the high 4.7s in the pro agility. Surely a young man that looks like a slot-receiver at the next-level to watch out of Camden upcoming.

[player_tooltip player_id='1810969' first='Trenton' last='Tapper'], WR, Eagan 2027

A wide receiver in our 2027 class that I got my first look of on Sunday was Eagan's [player_tooltip player_id='1810969' first='Trenton' last='Tapper'], who despite not having a Twitter or tape, intrigued me in the live eval. The 5'9 160 pounder, showed off great burst off the top of his route and noticable twitch when he made his cuts to get inside. Despite the size, I also was intrigued with his catch radius size as a wide receiver that showed off an upside with his football IQ with his route versatility. He also recorded a 4.53 pro agility and a 32.4 inch vertical which were intriguing numbers from an under the radar prospect with no tape yet.
