March Update: 2028 Ranking Risers

Over the past few months, I have become more and more impressed with the depth of talent that the class of 2028 is producing. Lee does a great job of running crisp routes and uses his route running ability to create separation from opposing defensive backs. The North Little Rock wide receiver has the speed to stretch the field vertically and is a nightmare to bring down when he gets into the open field. He is a playmaker in the passing game. Clopper does a great job of using his assortment of pass rushing moves to get into the opposing offensive backfield. Clopper has a high motor and pursues the ball carrier well. He does a great job of pressuring the quarterback and is a player to watch out for this upcoming season. Slater has the impressive ability to snag the football at its highest level. He uses his speed and route running combination to create separation from opposing defensive backs. [player_tooltip player_id='1398638' first='Ethan' last='Jones'] fits that description perfectly. Jones explodes out of the snap and gets into the opposing defensive lineman quickly. He uses his hands well to drive opposing defenders backward. Jones does an excellent job of clearing the rushing lanes of opposing defensive linemen. He is a versatile player who defeats blocks and gets into the opposing defensive backfield. Mitchelle has a good mix of speed and power and does a great job of pursuing the ball carrier. He continues to raise his game and is a player to watch out for over the next couple of seasons for Malvern.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
