ROCK HILL | Saturday's Prep Redzone Football City USA Clash gave us the opportunity to watch athletes compete from 12U to 18U. We provided the standouts in an earlier article from Saturday, but we wanted to give you an inside look at other observations from what took place at Manchester Meadows.

18U

Branden Raven | WR | G7 Charlotte Black

Raven is called by his coach “a dude” – and he was active early and often. He made an excellent catch on a 2-point conversion and was consistently finding ways to get open with throws from Cater. Raven and wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1239187' first='Caleb' last='Cooper'] are both at Providence Day and they have numerous Division 1 offers. They will cause a lot of problems for teams in the Charlotte area in 2025.

Christian Lyles | LB | G7 Charlotte Black

Lyles is only a sophomore and he made an excellent interception on a corner route. Trey Gathers was impressive as well with an excellent pass breakup, without interfering. Gathers has good size and can move well.

Adam Aqunl | WR | CJ Black

Adam kept catching our eye during the morning session with his ability to pluck the ball out of the air. He made a leaping catch near the sideline to set up a score. He catches it and then gets up field quickly for more yardage.

[player_tooltip player_id='205787' first='Hiszari' last='Gantt'] | WR | SC Outlaws

Gantt made a nice catch and run to set up a score. He also did a good job of making people miss. He gets up field quickly once he makes the catch.

[player_tooltip player_id='1061146' first='Teru' last='Davis'] | WR | SC Outlaws

Davis made a great grab in the left corner for a touchdown. He does a good job of finding the grass and getting open.

Jamoun Nichols | QB | Camp Hustle

Nichols did a nice job of reading coverages, being able to find receivers down field. He puts the ball where his guys can go to get it. One of his favorite targets was receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1321100' first='Rakim' last='Finch'] who made an excellent catch near the back of the endzone.

Diami Williams | WR | Christian Boyce

Williams made a nice catch in traffic to keep a drive going. Nadartrious Greene made a leaping catch to get the ball at its highest point.

Travon Lee | DB | Christian Boyce

Lee's closing speed on the ball was fun to watch during the afternoon session.

Vincent Carter Jr. | DB | Christian Boyce

Carter (pictured above) showed excellent closing speed to force an incompletion and a turnover on downs during a game late in the day. On offense, he showed off his speed, staying in stride for a touchdown. He closed out one game with an interception.

14U

[player_tooltip player_id='1894011' first='Noah' last='Dailey'] | QB | Matthews Elite

Dailey was impressive with throws on the run and he kept his eyes on the receiver. He led the offense well on a drive downfield during their first game of the afternoon session.

LJ Canty | QB | Vamp Elite Black 14U

Canty showed off a strong arm and made an accurate throw, setting up a touchdown.

Ty McConnell | DB | Vamp Elite Black 14U

McConnell snagged an interception, ending a Matthews drive.

Keontre Neely | WR | Vamp Elite Black 14U

Neely showed good hands for a first down reception. He has good speed and can make people miss when he gets into the open field.

12U and 14U

Cam McCullough | QB/DB | Football City Elite

McCullough has a good spiral on his throws and has a nice zip to his throws. He had a nice pass breakup in the morning session. He ran good routes and found the grass to get open on a wheel route for a touchdown.

Antwan West | WR | Football City Elite

West made a leaping catch to set up his team for a score, and then came right back to make a touchdown catch, showing great poise and leadership in the process.

Ethan Rhodes | QB | Blitz Blue

Rhodes is patient in the pocket waiting for routes to come open. One of his primary targets on Saturday morning was King Smith, who runs crisp routes on the outside and finds a way to get open. He connected with Rhodes for a touchdown.

Ethan Wisneski | QB | Blitz 14U Blue

Wisneski made an excellent throw right up the pike for a touchdown, showing off his arm strength and accuracy in the process.

Chase Thompson | QB | CJ Black

We were impressed with Thompson's pocket presence in waitting for the routes to develop, as wide receivers were able to sit down in their routes and then make get up field after making the catch,
